Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I ordered 2 medium sweaters, one for my son and one for my husband. They both arrived in a timely manner, but one was WAY bigger than the other - tagged a M but sized like an x-large. I’ve emailed them 3 times and used their online chat option, sent pictures with measurements, and have been totally ghosted. No responses to any of my inquiries as to how they want me to proceed with a sweater that is not wearable. Unless they remedy the situation I will continue to write reviews wherever I am able as this is not right - I invested a lot of money into these gifts and they have delivered an unusable product. Makes me sad as I was so excited to gift these sweaters this Christmas.

$35 shipping for one sweater

If you have enough money for one $100 sweater this company charges $35

If you order $2,000 worth of product (20 items) they charge $35 for shipping.

So basically you're being forced to pay for the shipping of people with a lot more money to spend, for no reason.

It doesn't cost $35 to ship a single sweater to the US - I've had 19 items of clothing shipped from England for less than $35

Anyways, their "savings" seems to be there for people who can more than afford their products.

There are multiple speeds/rates of shipping from Ireland - There's no need to upcharge a person with a single item of clothing in their cart 40% of the sweaters cost in shipping.

I have been reading other reviews and it is similarly what had happened to my order . I purchased three items paid over $300 and they send me one item wrong and cheaper item . Trying to have them exchange for the correct ones is like taking to a wall ! Their customer service is awful and they will keep you rounding up with bunch of lies , they are hoping you would give up eventually. I am going to report to the Better business Bureau. They should not get away with it! Just think how much money they are making by cheating customers in USA . Do not buy from this company !

Purchased two items internationally. One item much too small, the second was wrong color. Paid substantially to return the items with no recourse from company to replace with correct items. Voiced dissatisfaction many times, now can not get off email list!!!

I went to two of these places with my wife. Very disappointed.

You won't see many people in Ireland wearing these sweaters. Ask yourself why. Originally, they were heavy white sweaters oiled with lanolin, intended to protect fishermen. Now the sweaters are very light, and they're not oiled. When you hold one up, you can see through it. The prices are very inviting, but it looks like the sweaters are made to sell, not to wear. Flimsy.

I saw a few heavier sweaters...with heavier prices.

They had some caps that seemed to be of acceptable quality.

It's disappointing to see Irish retailers using low prices to convince people to buy sweaters that will turn out to have short lives.

I bought a wonderful hand knitted sweater on Inishmore and later bought the above referenced sweater from ASM. Ireland produces very little wool, so in both cases the wool was not Irish. Nearly all Irish sheep are raised for meat and their wool is very rough. I love the hand knitted sweater that I bought from the lady that knitted it. The ASM sweater was machine made, loosely woven, and snags very easily. It also is scratchy. The style was nice and the size was US standard, but if you're going to Inishmore, get the real thing! The price was actually about the same.

I returned the product, and then... NOTHING.

I purchased a cape on line - $345. My wife didn't like it and so i returned it. FED EX delivered it to the company on Feb 11, 2022. It's now 10 days later, and they haven't even processed it yet. The woman in the CHAT room wrote that they are shorthanded because one of the people in the returns dept is out with Covid. Just one... (how many do they have? three?)

Time to notify VISA.

Orderd the first time no problems at all, loved the product.

Next two orders I have made they have sent me the wrong hats.
The last time they've said the website is inaccurate, even though I reorder the same hat.
And then the company told me they are not sure what hat it is i want as the photo on the website is inaccurate.

I have sent the hats back now they are saying it is out of stock.

Was great now is absolutely useless.
Will be moving on.

Nice shop on inis more, welll stocked but I found the labelling misleading. A small amount of stock was labelled as irish, but I suspect that most of it is machine knit in ireland (with imported wool) and some of it is not irish at all.
Check the labelling. It may have a nice irish name, but not made in ireland. You get what you pay for! There is one shop that I found beside the dun aonghus tixket office that has definitely hand made irish goods, knitted on the island. Otherwise, ask for that clairificaton

Great to see this place still open and trading in these times. Trade is down with reduced numbers of foreign tourists coming to the island but the staff are so friendly and more than happy to help. The finest quality clothing and reduced prices all round. Free worldwide delivery when spend over €100
