I love this walk and often meet like minded people walking with their dogs. I love the woodlands and you can decide whether or not you want to go for the longer walk. Me and my husband love walking here.

May was lovely for the bluebells. Wear decent footwear for the woodland walks. Dogs just love Courtown Woods! The beach is almost gone, thanks to storms in recent years. ENJOY!

This walk from start to finish is about 45min/1hour. It's a little hilly but beautiful views of the beach along the way

The woods can be accessed at many different points but all paths eventually lead you to the sea. As you get close to the sea you can hear the surf crashing and the view of the sea through the trees is pretty unique. Fantastic place...More

One of my favourite places on the Planet. Forest & river walks abound. Sea close-by. It costs you nothing but gives you so much.

An easy gradient but intricate enough to keep you guessing what's past the next wind/bend. Walk in one way by the beach where you can access it from a few points, and then return further in the woods for a round trip. Park up in...More
