We were out looking for the White Cross and by accident saw the dilapidated sign for the Mottee Stone. Very disappointed as there was no explanation plaque so we just climbed the stone and drove back to Avoca.

Must go on a day that the weather is good to be able to get to see the lovely scenic views!! Give yourself plenty of time to get here as it's not very well signposted!

Easy place to walk to out of avoca. On a clear day a great view... not that well sign posted thought...we got good directions and took in miners cross on the way also.
