- Jenny87 contributionsBeautiful BreladeStunning expansive beach at low tide, when you can walk round the rocks to the next beach along which is backed by a nature reserve and a car park with a beachy cafe where we bought a chilled tinny of wine to drink on the beach before walking back to St Brelade through the pine woods. Visiting in June after the school holidays, the beach was quiet and perfect for strolling. There are restaurants and cafes along the esplanade, and a lovely garden. If you feel more adventurous, have a walk in the Winston Churchill park through the main car park - it’s more like an arboretum with pines, hillside walks , a rocky waterfall and stunning views.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 June 2023
- DJinksSolihull, United Kingdom750 contributionsGreat placeAbsolutely beautiful beach, goes on forever. We were able walk along the prom with plenty of places for tea/coffee, ice cream and places to eat. Access to the beach is down steps so might be unsuitable for elderly or disabled. There is access at one end of the prom but was quite a way off.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 June 2023

There are rock pools when the tide goes out and perfect for finding sea glass and pottery. Well worth a visit and would definitely visit again a must for anyone visiting jersey.Visited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 22 July 2023
- Chris HSheffield, United Kingdom93 contributionsBeautiful BreladesThe most beautiful sandy beach gently sloping so easy access into the sea. Sun loungers and brollies at reasonable prices and life guards on duty. Easy bus access from St Helier and elsewhere on Liberty buses. Toilets just by the beach and excellent restaurants..love the Crab Shack One of my all time favourite beaches nowVisited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 July 2023
- Jenny M52 contributionsAmazing beachFabulous beach. Has everything you need - toilets , great cafes , watersports , good value sunlongers for rent, nearby large cheap car park ……. Then tons of beautiful sand and lovely sea to swim in. Very safe swimming for young children and a lovely relaxed atmosphere on the beach. - Verareviews1 contributionOne of best beaches in Jersey! One of the best beaches in Jersey! There are lots of people and families there if you love a busy atmosphere, but not too crowded or noisy. The beach is very big, with nice soft sand (no pebbles!), and no disgusting seaweed at all! The waves are just high enough for a mild swim. Another advantage is that it faces the south, so even in the late afternoon it will be covered by the sun (if it is sunny). Little shops nearby sell delicious and reasonably priced ice cream and beach equipment, ideal for families! Will recommend to bring towel/mat to sit on for a visit.Visited August 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 28 August 2023

- Michael CLondon, United Kingdom402 contributionsStunning. It there a better beach anywhere in the British Isles?Absolutely fabulous. Wide sandy beach with easy access and a good supply of cafes, eateries, toilets, hotels and a couple of small convenience stores. The beach has safety patrols and, in good weather, the warm water is enticing. The bay sweeps between two headlands and, at low tide, allows water level access, with care, to the next bay. There is direct bus access from St Helier.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 October 2023

Our 3rd stay in St Brelade’s , at the lovely LHorizon hotel, so directly on to the prom and beach. Tide out, or in, it’s a beautiful spot.
Apparently it was voted 3rd best beach in the U.K, in 2019, by TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, fair enough! It’s a sheltered bay, flat, great for water sports judging by the activity! Clean ,level, sand makes for lovely walks along the surf. There are enough cafes and restaurants around the bay for choice, day and night, it’s not a wild noisy place ( maybe go to St Helier for that !) so it’s properly relaxing, for all ages . All kept immaculate, with careful planting in beds along the prom, and nice little touches like free sun cream dispensers and a free bucket and spade tub alongside😉 . Car parking, and toilets are dotted about, easy access. We will be returning!

We have never seen a beach with such beautiful white sand. The beach is huge and supported by a number of food outlets and small shops. On a sunny day there is nowhere better than this beach.

Has to be one of the most beautiful beaches on Jersey. Breathtaking views and long stretches of sand. Plenty of bars and resturants for refreshments and rest. Sun beds available for hire at weekends.

We were staying in L'Horizon hotel.. so the beach was right in front of us. Very tidal and that makes for an interesting and ever changing vista. Nice to walk down to the sea when the tide is out. Just as nice to see it lapping at the sea wall when the tide is in!.. memories of a lovely break!

St Brelades Bay, beach, bayarea,
with gardens at the beachwalk - Churchills Memorial Park -
and the lovely little Parish church, Fisherman's chapel, the old graveyard,
the walk down to the other side of the bay.
Nice family-friendly spacious beach, but windy.
Beautiful spot.
Large parking area, with good free toilet facility (did need...), many cubicles in a house at the parking.
Need a downloaded app, to pay parking fee. Took some time to figure out, and add.
Definitely recommended, for a swim.
And a look around the church area, which is quaint, old-style, and lovely.

Are there any beach umbrellas that you can hire? I have seen that sun beds are available and i was wondering if they offer umbrellas as well. Thank you

All beach facilities food products etc are available at the Beach Cafe and also on the actual promenade from St Brelades to Quaisne Bay.
End of July normally excellent weather looping slowly into Autumn, for me the best time of the season, with fewer visitors and considerably less traffic on the roads.
Coach & bus services provide daily service to St Brelade's Bay

Should be very good, but check the forecast first though 😊
Sea temperature should have risen to 18-20*C.
Weever fish can be around so always wear thin swimming slipp on shoes.
Try to time your arrival so that high tide is in the afternoon as the sea comes in over the hot sand and this is lovely and the best time to be there.
Hope you have a great time.

Both are good, on balance I’d go with September - we do tend to get decent weather at this time of year

I'm afraid I don't know, but go to "Visit Jersey" online, and there are contact details for the tourist board. Someone there might be able to give you an answer.
