About
In 2018 we are open from 1st May to 30th September, 10am to 5pm, Tuesdays to Sundays - we are closed on Mondays for maintenance, even if the Monday is a bank holiday. From early June to mid August we have our harvesting season when we look the best with the lavender in bloom, and we gather the harvest in. During this time we STRONGLY encourage you to attend one of the talks in the distillery at either 11:30am or 3:00pm. They are fun, informative and well worth it. Outside the harvesting season, the distillery isn't working but there is a 5 min video presentation that explains the processes on the farm through the year, and plenty to read and our different lavender oils to smell (and the entrance charge is lower). There is a "Discovery Trail" for kids and adults alike, chickens to feed and we also have our Sprigs Cafe and Shop. Plenty of homemade food in the first and a good range of gifts and, of course, the lavender products made on the farm.

Start of the season, had been opened days and it was the first weekend. Lady on the till was very flustered. There was a sign about the old liquid allowance for the airport, she had no idea of the new 2 litre allowance. Shop had some nice items, more expensive than expected. Our stay on the farm was short, considering the lavenders were not in bloom for another month or so, there was not much to see (but this was to be expected). It is a small amateur/family run place. Able to see them making the products which was nice. Spent around 30 mins wondering round. Probably not somewhere I would suggest going out of your way to visit, unless lavenders are in bloom.

Very quiet at the moment which makes it even more magical . They leave a little lavender growing so it’s always a beautiful spot , the tours aren’t running but you can watch the video and read about the distillation of the oils .
Perfect spot for a cup of lavender tea ( actually really nice ) , some short bread and a little swing under the old Cyprus trees .
If you are looking for a gentle stroll , beautiful smells and a nice little gift shop it’s well worth the very reasonable entrance fee

Stopped at the shop, lovely products; and to have lunch, which unfortunately was very disappointing. Only very ordinary bread (no rolls or brown bread available) and ordinary fillings, so decided not to bother with a cake, in case they were of a similar poor quality.
The Lavender farm cafe used to be brilliant, with a large selection of delicious savoury items for lunch, and lots of delicious, home-made, cakes too. We always went there at least twice per visit to the Island.
I do hope they get their act together, and get the standard back to what it used to be.

We enjoyed walking around the beautiful gardens and lavender fields. Due to the weather the lavender has lost some colour so we were charged just £2 per adult. We had an audio guide and it was interesting to find out more about how lavender is grown and processed.
The lady who served us in the shop was very friendly. There was a cafe and shop. Nice clean toilet.

Popped into the lavender farm as wanted to get some cologne and preserves. The little entrance into shop stocks lots of items. It is pricey however really nice products. The scent of lavender as you walk in is lovely and the garden is small but pretty. There is a video about how the lavender is proceed and you can get involved. Best time to visit is June - end July

What a hidden gem!
So well run, fabulous staff. So much to explore, facts about the farm everywhere. You could spend an hour here or all day! The place is beautiful! The tea room is excellent with home made, fresh cakes and scones. Entrance fee is far too cheap! We loved it and would recommend to anyone

We were regular visitors to the farm cafe, due to the awesome Lavender Cream Teas.
The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the food was beautiful.
We would recommend the Lavender farm to anyone, it's a must visit in Jersey.

What a fantastic little place. We visited on replanting so on admission you get a £3 voucher for the coffee shop which does fantastic cream and lavender teas with homemade scones which are freshly made on site.
They were processing some lavender oil when we visited and the smell was divine. Shane the head gardener was so knowledgeable he showed us around the garden as we wanted to see a tea tree. He was so enthusiastic and you could see he has a real passion for his job.
Friendly chickens walk around the farm and although they are in the middle of a replanting there is still plenty of lavender to see.
A must see place so tranquil

Wasps attacked the bee hives. Bees lost. Lavender needs those pollinating creatures or else there are no lavender flowers. That is problem #1.
The summer has been quite hot and dry. that is problem #2.
My sympathies go out to the young couple who are trying so hard to make this successful. The wife did lead the tour (not that much to see really, inside the buildings) and we all spent most of our time in the gift shop.
As for the four main lavender beds, only remnants of plants remain.
This was part of a pre-arranged Seabourn excursion and the highlight really was the bus ride from the harbor to this delightful setting.

Amazing place to visit! We arrived and the staff were all so friendly and helped us to get tickets. As we were visiting during replanting season we were given a £3 voucher for the coffee shop (tickets were £6.50).
We visited at about 11am which was the perfect time as it wasn’t too busy.
The lavender fields weren’t too high but we were able to take lots of photos. There is also a little lavender car you can take photos with and a swing.
Would definitely reccomend visiting, allow 1-2 hours here. It also isn’t too far from the bus stop if you aren’t hiring a car

Why are products dearer in shop than online?
Written 19 June 2019
the explanation given by the shop staff was that they have greater overhead costs associated with the shop, compared to the online sales

Has anybody had afternoon tea here?? And does anyone know what time they finish the afternoon tea?

They close at 5.00 and stop serving at 4.45 I think.

This is a possibility for a visit in July but we would be visiting by public transport. Which bus would we need from St. Helier and how far is it from the bus stop, please?
Written 8 May 2016
The No. 15 bus passes close and leaves Liberation Station in St.Helier every 15 mins. The journey is about 20 mins to the Tabor Park stop. Ask the driver to let you know when you get there. From there it is a 300m walk along the Petite Route des Mielles to the cross roads with the Rue du Pont Marquet. Turn right at the cross roads and the lavender farm is on the right. The No 12 also comes close, stopping at Red Houses. From there you walk straight down the Rue du Pont Marquet. get hold of one of the free Visit Jersey maps, to help you get your bearings.
