Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a nice area to take a stroll around, and watch the world go by, plenty of areas to take a seat, and take in the views. Well worth a visit.

St Helier beach and the surrounding area is lovely. There is only one problem, the smell of sewage wafting over the area. I was at the air display last week, which was amazing. It was all spoiled by the appalling overpowering stench.

We stayed in a lovely apartment 2 day before we arrived we were informed that there was building work going on nextdoor!!!
We paid £1700 for the week because of the way it was sold to us! Lovely garden view!!
The building work started at 7.30 with music singing and bad language at one point we couldn't even get back in for the day because there was a crane booking the way in!
Our holiday was completely ruined you could not sit in the Garden and relax you couldn't even sit in because of the noise!
We should have been told weeks before we arrived at least it would have given a chance if going elsewhere!

My friend and I spent two lovely afternoons here during our weekend stay!
Both times we took a picnic and a few cocktail cans to enjoy whilst we were there.
We had the loveliest time and there was some others who were playing their music, this was very enjoyable

Simply beautiful! We were staying at the Ommaroo Hotel, directly opposite the beach. The beach was lovely to wonder on the sand, was very clear waters. Stunning rock formations in the water, but ensure you keep an eye on the tides as they come in VERY quick. Is a must see and also to swim in the natural pool which fascinated us how quickly the sea would come up and refresh the waters.

The location is pleasant enough and the width of the beach is generous. What there really isn't here is an attractive beach.

Lovely beach, really clean. Lots of parking adjacent to the beach, cafes dotted along the promenade. Would recommend a visit.

A nice beach with the amazing Elizabeth castle in view , the beach is big and clean but is covered in sea weed but they use tractors to big it up and carry it away everyday when we were there.., no bar along the sea front at all you have to go into town , had a drink at the Grand Hotel £9 a pint ..

This is a good beach allowing you to cool off when the heat is up. So convenient being next to the town too.
