I enjoyed visit although it coincided with a children’s Halloween event so there were restrictions that normally wouldn’t be, e.g. cookery demonstration was not available and it was very difficult to watch the video due to background noise and lack of a seat. Normally wouldn’t...More

This site is a restored town house and with authentic furniture and fittings the building has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Check online for details of opening times and events being held there.

The cook was very informative and the room guides gave sufficient information without being long winded. The video upstairs helped to explain the houses history as well as showing the state of disrepair it had fallen into before the trust rescued it.
