- Rob A6 contributionsWell worth a visitThoroughly enjoyed our visit to this rebuilt Georgian house. The staff were very friendly and by a very entertaining lady playing the cook, we were introduced to the museum and its very interesting contents. Not much for kids to enjoy but for adults with an interest in history, this was an hour well spent!Visited June 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 4 July 2023

The amazing restoration gives a very good idea of how it would have looked in Georgian times. Its subsequent history is also interesting, as it led to the property being derelict and only saved thanks to an extremely generous benefactor. The guides are extremely knowledgable and helpful. Brilliantly renovated house, the Georgians sound like they were very comfortable.
The house has history from day one, a very interesing trail of decline and recovery. Volunteers are there who are very knowledgeable about the building.

This was a very interesting experience and showed the house as it would have been in Georgian times. The staff were very helpful and the cook dressed in period costume brought the kitchen to life.

The restoration story is amazing, and the result is very good. Tripadvisor has this as Georgian but it is actually Regency. Character portrayal of the cook excellent.

This Georgian House Museum was on my list of things to do during our visit to Jersey, we decided to go when it was raining. Staff are great, dressed in period costume - the kitchen lady was brilliant, we really enjoyed our visit.

I went to 3 classical music recitals at 16 New Street St Helier last September, on consecutive evenings. Is this an annual event? Have the dates been fixed for this year yet?
