Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am 22 and I am frequent visitor of my local theatre and it’s a lovely venue that supports local shows. It can’t even count how many times I have been here.

Four elderly women wandered in to the Arts centre to see what was on to enhance their holiday. Fortunately we met the Director Daniel Austin who showed us around gave a history and helped us book tickets for An evening with Sondhiem. Then he advised how to see attractions next day, and on the taxi service to them. We had a wonderful day. Tunnels in the morning then the Zoo then the performance of Sondhiem songs. He booked us a taxi back to our hotel and was standing in the road waiting for it when we came out. What kindness, attention to detail and courtesy. It really enhanced our holiday so much. Jersey is fortunate to have their Arts centre directed by him. Thank you Daniel.

FANTASTIC - acting was amazing and great story. Arts center a little too warm so if you have a fan that could come in handy.

We booked to see the show before leaving for our holiday. The performance was very good and the small theatre well appointed. We didn't book for a meal before the show which was a mistake as the restaurant - Cafejac - was full and there aren't many other eating places nearby. We did have a drink during the interval which was well organised . A lovely little venue.

We made the grievous error of paying £60 for four seats in a "play" that was so amateurish as to be virtually unwatchable. But we can live with that.

What we can't live with is being not only forced to wear masks indoors, but then also be spread out at least 20 feet apart from each other (remind me...if masks work, why do we need to socially distance?).

Then at the end, a dunce with the inevitable politically correct lisp appears at the front to inform us that due to "Thotial Dithtancing" we had to leave the theatre one row (or three people) at a time. As if this is actually going to accomplish anything.....in particular in light of the fact that we were then all crammed together in the foyer trying to get out.

Not to mention the fact that five minutes later half the theatre were in restaurants weaning NO masks and just 3 feet from other patrons.

Dealing with dummies is not pleasant.

Shrove Tuesday happened to be my birthday this year so a breakfast was in order. Pancakes with maple syrup and bacon for me, pancakes with blueberries and ice cream for my wife and a children’s portion of porridge we ordered. Although slightly slow given how quiet it was (7:30 am) the food was outstanding. Pancakes fluffy and light, bacon crispy. What more can you ask?

We had a delicious meal, great range on the menu with a lovely apple pie for dessert. The service was excellent and very friendly. Good value for money. We enjoyed watching the movie after our meal on the big screen with the headphones.
