    Historic Site
Nice place to visit as it has historical interest being the square Island residents all congregated on the day of liberation in 1945 and there is a statue to commemorate it. Now a busy place with restaurants, an ice cream kiosk and also a good place to book any trips as the coach companies are situated here. Also where you can get on the little train that goes along the coast road to St. Aubin.

Striking celebration of the end of the Occupation
Lovely statue and fountain, remembering the hard times during the Occupation. Also can enter Le Petit Train from here, book an all round island tour and also have an ice cream!! Mind the seagulls and the resident tortoises on tour!

    Sit here and relax
Nice to sit here and watch the world go by in this historical place. Several restaurants around. The little tourist train (Le PetitTrain) goes from here and it’s also the place to book coach tours of the island.

    Superb focal point.
Beautiful square of great historical significance to the population of St Helier. Statues and layout a real pleasure to walk around on a nice day. Many great attractions surround it and development has been innovative and sympathetic to the fine old buildings.

It was lovely to sit in Liberation Square and just soak up the atmosphere.. The monument to the liberation of Jersey is fascinating and needs to be studied for a while to see all of its elements. Really enjoyed this area of St. Helier.

An interesting sculpture laid out around a small water feature, an ideal location for a drink and a snack with a pub/cafe area nearby

Lovely place just to sit and people watch, or maybe enjoy a lovely jersey ice cream.
Or maybe have a drink or meal in one of cafe’s.

Myself and 3 of my friends had a lovely 3 day break
Last week. We stayed in Premier Inn Charing Cross in centre of St Helier.
Hotel was spotless and beds very comfortable. Staff where lovely and very welcoming and looked after us very well nothing was too much bother.
We used the very good bus service and visited St Brelades, St Aubins and Corbiere.
There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops in St Helier and we ate some lovely food.
Would recommend the Petite Train you can get on at Liberation Square and it takes you to St Aubins, £9 return. Also there are buses that you can take for half day trip and stops at all the bays. We didn't do this as we didn't have time but we will when we return.
Ps, a trip to the market in St Helier is a must.
