In July '23 we visited Jersey for the first time post pandemic to visit family and introduce our 3 year old to the island and family who had not yet had the chance to meet him.

This was our first trip to Jersey where we had to think about entertaining a toddler! My sister-in-law highly recommended the aMaizin! Adventure Park which just so happened to be only 10mins away from where we were staying.

We spent the majority of the day there and it was one of the best days of our trip. You know when you think back to your childhood and you have core memories of running around in the sun, without a care in the world having the time of your life - that was what this day was for my son.

The soft play next to the entrance and shop was impressive with plenty of seating for parents, and when we made our way outside we didn't know where to start. The Lookout fort play area was a favourite which we returned to a couple of times, the tractor yard was perfect for a vehicle crazy kid, there were adult and mini go-karts which we took for a spin, a toboggan hill, jumping pillow which we had to bribe him off and even a tractor ride which was great fun for big and little people.

We had lunch in the cafe - it wasn't the cheapest but the food was delicious and it was convenient not having to leave the site. The icing on the cake was when we heard there was a FOAM PARTY in the Water Wars area and my husband and son disappeared for what seemed hours. Good job I took a towel and a change of clothes! That was pretty special.

We finished off with a walk round the Maze which was good fun. You have to hunt for letters to help navigate you through which was great for our son who's learning his alphabet - when we reached the end you would have thought we'd been on an Artic expedition from the level of celebration from us all!

I highly recommend the aMaizin! Adventure Park and am looking forward to our next visit when we're on island again.

More suited for family with younger children. I will say 10 years and below. Quite cozy to keep the children entertained

This place should be closed down with discrimination laws.
They are not inclusive!
Went here while on holiday, it was terrible weather so we paid the ridiculous price of £56 for 2 children and adults to use their indoor area. My children were having a wonderful time until 10 minutes into play when they refused to let my 5 year old play because of her refusal to wear socks (it is very typical of child, even more so for a child who has autism), every single place we have been to like this has allowed her to be sock free as long as she has clean feet but aMazin would not budge which cause massive stress for her and the rest of family. Even thinking back to when we were there still makes me so angry and upset. If you have children with special needs give this place a miss.

We are disappointed you were upset and our team who assisted you, from the playbarn to the staff member who watched your children whilst we were giving you a refund were also upset they weren’t able to help. We have a lovely team and many have personal experience of neuro-divergent children. Whilst wearing socks in the indoor area is for everyone’s safety, we would have loved you to take up the offer of returning the following day as our guests to experience the only dry day of the week and enjoy the outside activities and our animals. Wearing socks in indoor areas is there to protect your child and others. It avoids severe frictions burns, rotational flips which can cause broken bones and reduces the incidence of catching or passing childhood infections such as scabies, verrucas, or athletes foot. This requirement is laid down by our underwriters and is an insurance requirement based on ROSPA advice and really unfortunately, is not something we can deviate from. We did reach out to other farm parks after your visit and discussed the situation, in depth, with them. They all confirmed this requirement is something they do not deviate from due to the risk to their business when specific insurance safety requirements aren’t adhered to. It does affect the team when they are described as discriminatory as we have always had a good arrangement locally with those with many different disabilities. We have a long-standing arrangement with the local school for disabilities who are able to use the facilities whenever they wish, we give complimentary entry to respite teams, sponsor Days Out with our local Childrens charities for disabled children, and offer employment opportunities for those that need extra support.

Buses do not go very frequently. To get to the park from our accommodation with a family of six needed a taxi - not cheap in Jersey. But the park was worth the extra cost. All the children under 9 had a whale if a time inside and out. Plenty of scope for parents and grandparents too to try their skills. The park offers a wide variety of activities to occupy the family all day, with good catering and other facilities. Thoroughly recommended. Check the weather though, the opportunities are mostly outside. It would be quite restrictive in bad weather.

This is such an informative review, thank you for taking the time to post. It's lovely to see the adults enjoyed their visit, the park is designed for the whole family and value for money is certainly better when all get involved.

We visited on a sunny day in June, unfortunately a few weeks before the maze opened but everything else was open.

There's a fantastic variety of things to do; we ended up staying around five hours (including a stop for lunch) and only left because our two year old was exhausted, not because we had run out of things to do!

On arriving we were warned it was very busy on account of a group visiting, but it didn't feel like that at all; there were so many different things to do that we didn't have to queue for anything. We pre-ordered at the diner to beat the lunchtime rush, which was great as it meant no waiting for food; we could play on the activities until the beeper went off to tell us the food was ready.

The staff were all friendly and helpful and everything seemed well maintained and thought out. Some really novel ideas we haven't seen elsewhere.

We'll definitely be back next time we visit Jersey.

After reading reviews etc, we were looking forward to our visit but unfortunately it was really not worth the expense of nearly £50. Neglected landscaping. Tractor ride takes you past what looks like a landfill site.(yes I am aware it is a working farm/small holding, but regardless it just looks neglected). No staff at all outdoors supervising. Very few animals to see. Had to leave the toilet door slightly open outside as lights did not work. Indoor play barn terrible and no good for little ones as not ‘soft’. The whole thing is solid wood. Soft play area for toddlers was a few soft toys, little tikes cars and a ‘sensory dark room’ consisting of three small items to touch on a wall and two small light ropes! Worst sensory space we have ever seen and we have visited a few.

We also visited Guernsey and went to Oaty and Joeys soft play for less than £5 per child. Much better space, atmosphere and safety. Also had trampolines and go karts for a fraction of the price.

I rarely give reviews but really feel that this place is extremely overpriced and overrated. Of note, we paid exactly the same amount to go to jersey zoo. The 2 attractions are worlds apart in terms of up keep.

We really do regret you didn't enjoy your visit. Over half of our visitors come to us through recommendations. This is a real honour, but also difficult to convey what we offer to those who haven't visited our website or looked at our social media. Our animals are rescued or re-homed. The average stay for a visit is around 5 hours in summer so often people pop in and out of the barnyard to see who has come to say hello as the animals move in and out of their homes. Our indoor playbarn is entirely built of wood and was designed to stimulate imagination and allow adults to interact with children. The row of shops in Imagination Street, the small soft play area and the toddler area normally keep our smaller guests content. We fully agree with your comments regarding the sensory room. We currently have new equipment on order and are experiencing shipping delays from our provider, we will make this clearer to our customers following your feedback. We much prefer it when visitors leave saying they've had an amazing day, feel like a child again, and their children / grandchildren will sleep well that night and we're sorry we didn't leave you with a positive impression.

Visited in November with my 7 yo daughter. She loved it and I had fun too. Obviously a couple things are closed due to rain or the season but this was all explained to me by staff at reception before entry. Has inside area too so when it rained we went inside, daughter played happily.
We played mini golf, tractor go karts and toboggan outside. We were able to see some animals too. Staff friendly and definitely worth a visit.

Visited the park last Wednesday and had the best day! Tons to do and see my personal favourite was the farm animals, they are all so well looked after. Apart from the huge array of activities to do I also really enjoyed the cafe. I was super impressed! They have a ton of gluten free / vegan even dairy free options that are really fairly priced and delicious!

Staff were all helpful and friendly which added to the experience fully
Lovely gift shop on the way out/in aswell
Will definitely be back !!

Our barnyard is a compact area with rescued and re-homed animals, but very popular! It's lovely to see the food mentioned again. Our small team work hard to provide a varied menu, good ingredients and freshly cooked and people are often surprised when visiting. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit.
