- GIDracoCambuslang, United Kingdom287 contributionsGood Family FunWe arrived here at lunchtime on a very hot afternoon and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't very busy (apparently most favour the beach in such days). The staff were all brilliant and helpful, especially during the interactive stations with the kids. The cafe had plenty of options for them to eat too. There are lots of little stations and things to see, even though the area itself isn't too big. We had two 9-year-olds in tow so it's was perfect for them. Any older and they would probably have gotten bored? The indoor play area was suffice too. Things to be mindful of: bus links aren't obvious. Some buses even lead into farm roads with no paths so plan ahead. Also, if your children want to attend the "foam party" bring a towel and a change of clothes if you don't think they'll dry off in the sun. A great day out!Thank you for your review and the kind comments about our team. We are definitely quieter on beach days, the joys of a small island with lots to do!Written 3 July 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 13 May 2024
- Emily S1 contributionBrilliant for all agesI love coming up to the aMaizin! adventure park and have done for years with my godchild and friends who have children. It is made even more special bringing my daughter who is already enjoying some of the activities from when she was only 4 months old such as messy play, rhyme time (only during term time), the soft play area and today a little DIY photo shot! Even if I have a spare half an hour and want to take my daughter out, I love just popping in to see the animals or just have a quick catch up with my other mum friends. - James Garner P2 contributionsGreat first experience with our familyJust back from a great day at the aMaizin Adventure Park. Initially unsure if there would be anything to keep our 7 month old entertained, our daughter absolutely loved the soft play zone. A totally different place for her to crawl around and explore. The weather has been rubbish, so this place has been a saviour to us given its indoor play zone. Once tired out, we ate at the on-site Cafe. Food was genuinely excellent and, I thought, really reasonable. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating for food and really friendly staff. Would 100% recommend.Thank you for a lovely review. Our indoor play area has certainly been popular with the inclement weather. Your comments about the food will be passed to our ctaering team. They really care about what they do, source local produce and keep prices reasonable. It's lovely to see this is appreciated.Written 14 August 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 July 2024

- Jo M1 contributionPlay Heaven at aMaizin Adventure! We arrived with our three year old and nearly one year old with very little expectation. Our three year old was in heaven from the offset with so many perfectly pitched activities including ride one like tractors and go carts, pirate ships, Dino digs and hose pipe water fights (bring wet play gear!). Our little one (not toddling yet) found lots of opportunities to come out of the pram especially in the indoor play which catered safely for babies all the way up to early teens. The activities worked well for all ages and were amazing facilities for imaginative play, and a real highlight was the super speedy tractor ride! The food was tasty and reasonably priced, all in all a fab family day out!We love that you mentioned the imaginative play. This is something we work hard on, to give children the experience we had as children, away from screens and devices - and it's really lovely when this is appreciated. Another lovely comment about the tasty food, we'll make sure to pass your compliments to our catering team.Written 14 August 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 3 August 2024
- Lovemyhols73St. Helier, United Kingdom25 contributionsAmazing Day!We had an Amazing day here. From the welcome on arrival which was informative for myself and family visiting, we were advised to follow the map provided and to watch out for set times of certain activities. My niece loved everything from the tea cups, pillows, music area, maze, barnyard and the foam party! Foam party was enjoyed so much the owner (I think) gave them all another extra session. We ate at the diner, which was super busy at lunch time, but we were served quickly, food was beautiful and kids lunch boxes are genius with the watermelon option, well done chef! Overall a fab day for my family visiting Jersey with my nieces for the first time. All staff were super friendly and approachable, we will return!Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 29 August 2024
- Karin GEpsom, United Kingdom7 contributionsBest family day outWhat an Amazin! Place! So many unique and interesting things to play on. Kids would have spent hours sliding down the grass hill. Never been to anywhere like this. So many nifty features like carts to use to move about little kids and all your stuff. Highlight of the day was the foam party which went on for about her an hour with all the kids just playing with each other, making new friends and getting soaked! Biggest tip is to bring something like crocs, swim cossie and towel!!Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 22 September 2024

We went to aMazing adventure park in Jersey as we were on holiday visiting family. My brother and my five year old son had an accident on the go karts, and through the go kart being broken, it tipped over causing it to land on my brother and son. After it had happened, my brother and son were covered in cuts and bruises on their arms, legs and back. Not one person was around at the time to help us while my five year old was crying with panic and the skin had come off my brother’s forearm. I saw a cleaner and I was told if I wanted first aid, we had to go to reception, not one offer of coming to us to administer first aid. Luckily, I had wipes and sudocrem which I used immediately. We were given wipes and a dressing. No accident book completed, no photographs of the injuries taken from the management (which I took), there was not even an offer of a drink to my son, who was clearly in shock. The receptionist was totally lacking the skills to deal with my issue so then proceeded to get a manager. I have never met such a rude, incompetent individual who was meant to be a manager. She show led a complete lack of empathy or interest towards us. She didn’t listen and insisted on telling me she had three children. I asked her if asking a five year old to walk with bleeding legs to a reception was acceptable and ironically she couldn’t seem to answer my question which I asked her more than once. I asked her why no-one was supervising the area at the time and how after my son and brother had fallen did other visitors know the go kart was broken and the park staff didn’t. Firstly she told me they were new go karts and they were checked on a morning before use. She then told me they were checked twice which caused me to wonder if anything she told me was the truth. I told her they should be checked after every individual had used them, and he answer to me was “Come on, we check them more than most parks” After the accident, they admitted the go kart was broken after they checked it but still allowed older children to race around, crashing into things without telling them to stop. Her attitude was absolutely appalling, in fact, how the entire situation was dealt with was extremely worrying considering there are a lot of young children come to this park. How it was dealt with was absolutely shambolic. PLEASE AVOID!

Thank you Louise for your review, and for giving us a chance to respond.
The first aider (not cleaner) you spoke to within a minute of the accident asked you to attend reception as it is a sterile environment and easier to wash your brothers graze. This was for safety, not convenience. This was explained to you by the manager you saw at the end of the day, so we do feel that question was very clearly answered.
The manager was called (by the receptionist) as you had requested a copy of the accident form, so you must be aware that this was completed. I'm sorry you felt the receptionist was lacking skills but getting advice is always preferable than handing out personal information to the wrong person.
As your brother is in his thirties, he needed to request this himself.
The owner who followed up and spoke to your brother and son was pleased to see everyone was fine, and it's a pity you felt he was also lacking.
I'm sorry you felt we handled this badly, and whilst complaints (especially about safety) are rare, every one is taken seriously and investigated.
We're pleased you continued to enjoy the park's activities until the end of the day, and hope your family enjoyed the rest of their holiday.

This place should be closed down with discrimination laws.
They are not inclusive!
Went here while on holiday, it was terrible weather so we paid the ridiculous price of £56 for 2 children and adults to use their indoor area. My children were having a wonderful time until 10 minutes into play when they refused to let my 5 year old play because of her refusal to wear socks (it is very typical of child, even more so for a child who has autism), every single place we have been to like this has allowed her to be sock free as long as she has clean feet but aMazin would not budge which cause massive stress for her and the rest of family. Even thinking back to when we were there still makes me so angry and upset. If you have children with special needs give this place a miss.

We are disappointed you were upset and our team who assisted you, from the playbarn to the staff member who watched your children whilst we were giving you a refund were also upset they weren’t able to help.
We have a lovely team and many have personal experience of neuro-divergent children.
Whilst wearing socks in the indoor area is for everyone’s safety, we would have loved you to take up the offer of returning the following day as our guests to experience the only dry day of the week and enjoy the outside activities and our animals.
Wearing socks in indoor areas is there to protect your child and others. It avoids severe frictions burns, rotational flips which can cause broken bones and reduces the incidence of catching or passing childhood infections such as scabies, verrucas, or athletes foot.
This requirement is laid down by our underwriters and is an insurance requirement based on ROSPA advice and really unfortunately, is not something we can deviate from.
We did reach out to other farm parks after your visit and discussed the situation, in depth, with them. They all confirmed this requirement is something they do not deviate from due to the risk to their business when specific insurance safety requirements aren’t adhered to.
It does affect the team when they are described as discriminatory as we have always had a good arrangement locally with those with many different disabilities. We have a long-standing arrangement with the local school for disabilities who are able to use the facilities whenever they wish, we give complimentary entry to respite teams, sponsor Days Out with our local Childrens charities for disabled children, and offer employment opportunities for those that need extra support.

Thiswas avery negative experience for me personally. It isvery sad to say that thisplace failed to update their website to say that kids under three are no longer free, they havechanged their policy to charge children like my grandson £12 entry fee and myself as a pensioner with a carer a further £12, let alone my son and his wife £15 each [ shocking], thestaff completely refused to listen to any discussion thatcarers would ormally go free.
i explained that the i felt their polcy is a a disgrace. When i eventually saw the manager, Terry he apologised for their false advertising and even though I stated that i felt insulted thsty they would take £54 off me their was no offer to make good their mistake. Like many places in Jersey this venue are overcharging and they will eventually kill the tourist trade completely.

You arrived and requested that we charge you 2010 prices as you had found this on a defunct 3rd party website.
We have charged for 2 and over since 2001 when we opened.
You came with your son, his wife and your grandson, and made no mention of a carer, presumably because no carer was with you.
We explained the prices (which are also on a 6ft board at the entrance) and you decided to go ahead and enter the park.
After a number of hours enjoying the park and our extra “Machine Madness” activities, you spoke to our manager at the end of the day. You again mentioned we should honour the 3rd party 2010 prices.
I didn’t apologise for “false advertising” as all our website / price boards and information on reception is correct. You confirmed you had enjoyed your visit, so I am extremely surprised to read your version which omits your only point raised with me “that we wouldn’t charge you 2010 prices”.
We are transparent about our pricing, we want people to enjoy their visit, and we clearly explained the pricing to you before you decided to enter. We are pleased that your family enjoyed their visit.

I took my son , DIL and Grandson to this place which was advertised as under three years old go free. I am disabled and my son provides care and support where required. Most places offer free entry for carers but not this place, Amaizin. It transpired that they now charge two year olds 12 pounds to get in. When i eventually saw the manager Terry a guy from the north east, he explained that they are currently false advertising their prices as the dont have the ability to take down false information.
i paid 54 to get in to place that really was extortion at a premium.
i paid 15 quid each for my and DIL and 12 pounds each for my grandson and I.
Despiote the fact that I told the manager I found this insulting, his response was shameless, not even an offer free refreshments to make up for their illegal false advertising.
The truth of the matter this was a reflection of the way Jersey has vastly deteriorated over the past two decades, most people cant even speak English anymore and many mistaskes are made when receiving services. The sooner tourism comes to an end on my island[ which i left 43 years ago] the less i will feel embarassed about how bad things have got.

Not worth the visit. Cost £50 for my wife and and 2 kids (4 and 2) - no maize, no teacups going, basically an old field with a few slides and other not very exciting pieces. Waste of money - left after 30 minutes and will definitely never come back

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your visit on 22nd May and have taken a little time to review your trip. We can see you stayed with us for one and a half hours which is a short trip in the summer. The team member you saw at reception clearly gave you our information and we can see the park map was popped in the pram.
I'm not sure where the confusion has occurred (we have reviewed all our literature, website etc) but the maze is never available at this time of year. It is only available July / August. Maze cannot grow in Europe in winter / Spring.
The teacup rides were definitely highly visible and operating as scheduled.
We can see your didn't venture inside, to the barnyard, or even to the full length of the park. We have over 40 activities and I regret than none were of interest. Whilst some adults would prefer not to get involved, it is rare for children not to enjoy their visit.
It would be helpful if you could get in touch and let us know what you expected and what information you read before visiting. We do try to be very open in what we offer and are generally very good at having information to hand so people can ascertain if the park is right for them.

Visited here whilst on holiday with my husband and 10 year old son. Extremely disappointed. The slides on the indoor play area were closed. The tea cup ride was closed. Went to see the animals only to be told they weren't there and were taken away to graze. The only attraction really that my son liked was the big jump pillow. There were only 2 footballs to use for the challenge. We paid over 40 pounds for the 3 of us which I find extortionate considering there was hardly anything there do. Also the maze wasn't open either. We won't be visiting again.

The price is to expensive, when your charging full price for an adult but we don't would not do many of the activities. May charge a small fee but not impressed with cost of £62.00 for 2 adults and 2 children. If we were on our own and not with friends on holiday I would have walked out at that price.
Ages of my 2 are 6years and 10years. i would say the 10 year old found it boring, but the 6 year old was not to bad as the best bits about the park are the tractor ride with a great host and the foam party, so take googles and swim wear.
just to warn you there are set time things open through the day, don't get caught out like us we got there at 10 and had to wait for everything to open.
Its not a very big park so we were there about 4 hours, with a lunch break and the kids did everything and then got bored.
The animal part of the park was not very impressive either.
The Tobogganing was ok if you went down with your children in the same ring to give it more weight, as with turf, washing up liquid and a hose pipe, it did not work every well for lighter children and very slow or stopped half way down.
The maze and the drop slides don't open until 11am and the ball cannon until 1pm, When asked why they said its set at this time as noisy, think this is harsh and should have a morning time and afternoon time as we missed it at 1pm as we were on the tractor and foam party.
Tractor rides from 12pm and teacup open at 11:30am.
Its not amazing at we thought it was going to be as the website looks great, very disappointed and personal I would not waste my money paying full price for an adult.

Thank you for leaving a review. We do have six bonus activities in the summer which are timed. These are on our website and on the map handed to you at reception, we're sorry this appeared to cause some confusion.
The many regular activities are available all day.
We did explain that, as an inclusive attraction, with a wide age range, the cannons are turned on for the afternoon. It is sensory overload when they're on (for both adults and children) and this allows our guests to chose a quieter or noisier time to rest inside.
At your request we did turn them on earlier for you, and they remained on until 5pm as scheduled.
Our pricing is very transparent. It's in a six foot sign before you enter and clear on our website, and if you feel you would not participate this gives you the opportunity to make a decision before you enter.
We are sorry you didn't find your visit as exciting as you'd hoped.

We're sorry you found your visit disappointing and thank you for your feedback.
We are very clear on all our information that the maze always opens on 01st July, the soil temperature is not warm enough to grow the crop sooner.
The 6ft map outside, the A0 poster at reception, and the individual maps you are handed on entry detail the timings and availablity of activities.
We operate the mechanised activities in the morning and afternoon and timings are designed so you don't have to choose an activity and can go from one to the other.
You are correct, we don't have a petting area, we have a barnyard for rescued and re-homed animals, and due to their ages and past history we let the animals choose when to interact.
Thank you for reminding others we recommend a change of clothes and also socks for the indoor area.

Thank you for your review.
We had to double fence animals last year as an underwriter requirement, hopefully seeing their antics was fun!
WE are pleased you enjoyed your visit.

Hello, there is a brilliant bus service which will drop you outside the Park. There isn't anything like it in St Helier. It's about 20 - 25 minutes on the bus. You'll have a great time, I went with my two year old grandson today.

Yes everything is free when you enter the park.
We were confirming that anything additional taking place in the summer i.e. tractor rides, maze, events are all included in your entry fee.
We don't charge extra for any activity once you have paid your entry fee.
Having visited other similar attractions in the UK there is often additional costs for tractor rides, £2 extra for the goldmine and charges applied to craft activities etc. We don't do this, and always ensure that whatever extra we offer we always include this in the entry fee.
