    Beautiful 😍
This was quite a surprise. It was such a n interesting place and the variety of beautiful orchids to see was amazing. There is a cafe but you are also welcome to bring your own picnic and eat in the grounds.. A pleasant way to spend a few hours. The bus to Victoria Village is every 2 hours which is just enough time for a good look around and a cuppa. .

    Wonderful place with beautiful blooms
The orchid display area is wonderful with lots and lots of different colourful blooms. It was a very enjoyable experience with lots of opportunities for photographs. The only disappointment was a lack of a full café, only offering drinks, items like crisps and a few biscuits. I understand that they would like a better café. I would recommend this attraction if you are keen on flowers. It is especially good for a wet day. One thing that makes this place not as busy at it could be is the lack of prominent signs they are allowed to have.

    Stunning orchid display
Stunning orchid display. This is a small venue but absolutely beautiful and worth a short visit. You can fully appreciate the display in 1-2 hours and there are benches to sit and relax amongst the beautiful displays. It's undercover so ideal for an overcast or rainy day. Coffee and snacks are available to have either inside or outside in the gardens. We took a taxi from St helier £15 each way. But the bus 21 takes you there although it's a short walk from the bus stop in victoria village and service isn't too frequent, 2 hourly on the day we went.

    A Paradise of Orchids
Wonderful morning spent at the Eric Young Orchid Foundation in Jersey, surrounded by a breathtaking collection of orchids. The bright colours really caught my attention, and the entrance fee was well worth it. I loved the peaceful vibe, plus there was a nice spot for tea and cake, along with a lovely outdoor area for picnics. All in all, the foundation was a fantastic experience.

A really lovely peaceful place to visit
I love orchids and this place was a must see. We had a nice welcome and were told to take our time and just stroll around and enjoy it - my husband and sister-in-law are not gardeners but enjoyed being among the gorgeous flowers. The outside area is pleasant too for a stroll.

    Worth a visit
Visited here (4 adults) on Saturday 28/9/24 at about lunchtime. We were stunned to find we were the only car in the car park!! We found it funny that there is an overflow one! Although it was a Saturday, I suppose we were going there off peak. Anyway, there are tables & chairs for you to eat/drink at - snacks there are minimal e.g. flapjacks, crisps & biscuits. Charming young man welcomed us. Not a huge place, but very interesting to see all of the different varieties of orchids amongst other greenery. Plenty of photo opportunities. Some smell lovely. There is an outdoor area to walk around - not much out there. And you can see a greenhouse/nursery. Pleased we went . We were recommended to go there & we would do the same to others, even if you’re not hugely into flowers/plants/gardening.

As my title says, this is a waste of both time and money.
We went there thinking, stupidly, that we would see more orchids than we had ever seen and that it would be a nice way to kill a couple of hours on a day when the weather was not great. How wrong we were. I have seen more plants in our local garden centre!
After a twenty-five minute bus ride from St Helier we got off the bus and were reminded by the driver that the next bus back was in two hours.
Having paid £6.50 each to enter the attraction and I use the word attraction lightly, we went into what can only be described as a greenhouse with a high roof. Five minutes later having shuffled past other visitors and my wife taking a few photos we realised that we had completed the tour! There is a viewing area opposite which allows you to look at three or was it four growing areas. That took about 1 minute. No talk by a gardener, no advice on growing orchids, nothing. There was a cooler in reception which contained a sandwich and a few bags of cheese nibbles. That was it. Done and dusted and back to the bus stop in minutes! We decided not to wait the hour and thirty minutes plus for the bus, instead thanks to Google maps, we had a twenty minute walk to another village and got another bus. We were back in St Helier before the other bus would have even arrived at the orchid foundation.
In fact the walk was the best part of the morning.

All the publicity stated that this seemingly attractive establishment would be open. We traveled in our hire from Jersey Zoo following good dedicated signage through narrow country lanes to the entrance and on arrival found the gates locked.
I am aware that publicity cannot be changed overnight but road signage can
We were very disappointed.

We visited here on the day we arrived on Jersey. The Foundation is well signposted and has a good sized car park. There is a little seating area where I had a cuppa while my wife did a second circuit of the orchid area.
The staff are friendly and the orchids are amazing plants in a brilliant setting. They really are awe inspiring and beautiful to look at, even as someone who is ignorant of plants. There's info on different home regions and growing requirements in the nursery area. Entry was £6.50 which was well worth it.

Congratulations to all concerned for another Chelsea Flower Show Gold medal . Certainly well deserved based on the amazing selection of beautiful orchids we saw when we visited you recently. Gardeners & non gardeners alike will not fail to be blown aware by the sheer riot of colour, the different varieties and scents of your amazing displays. A must see for anyone holidaying in Jersey.

The orchids are indeed beautiful and complemented by supporting plants. The area of interest however, is very limited and it does not take very long at all to get around. No information provided, at least we received or saw none, other than the orchids’ names and we were told to just follow our noses. Very poor value.

This was one of our favourite things on Jersey, so much so we went twice on our two week holiday. There is one large(ish) display greenhouse which was absolutely spectacular. I didn't realise orchids where so varied. There are also other amazing tropical plants with the orchids which make the displays exceptional. There is a viewing gallery to see the three smaller cultivating greenhouses. Stunning place which I highly recommend.

We first visited the Eric Young Orchid Foundation with my mother in a wheel chair soon after it opened. Just a large room with all the orchids growing naturally.
Visited again recently... what a change. It now seems like a nursery not a private well loved collection. A bit disappointing but still worth a visit just for colours and to see orchids you have never seen before.
