Beach open to the Atlantic but possible to fine areas of shelter from the westerly winds. Plenty of water sports - surfing, sail boarding etc. Always swim at high tide in afternoon as the sun has warmed the sand before the water rolls over it....More

Wonder beach at low or high tide. At high tide the waves crash into the sea wall and spray shoots up over. If you're not careful you can get soaked. I just love watching the waves. Great place for a dip in the sea too.

Visited beautiful Vazon Bay.Gorgeous beaches .We visited the old casements left from the war very interesting. Well worth a drive out to this beautiful bay .

Great sunny beach ! Highly recommend! Surf school, bars, restaurants, for cyclists no hills, straight coast from the bottom till Pembroke beach.

surf school on the beach offer lessons and there is a dedicated area for swimming and surfing. beautiful at sunset, great walk out to the fort on the headland. Good to explore the gun emplacement - open a few days a week.

Beautiful safe sandy beach with plenty of space even in August on a perfect sunny day - oh and plenty of parking!! We played bat and ball and swam and had a great afternoon of fun.
