Nice for a coffee break, some shopping and the view.

This was a stop on the Princess shore excursion I was on. It was a good place for a break with coffee/snacks, meals and bathrooms. There was a large jewelry/gift shop with lots of jewelry & pearls, purses, postcards etc. I enjoyed having tea at one of the tables outside as it was a nice day. Guernsey has it's own... More

Lovely shop and beautiful pearls. Bought black pearl necklace. Really different and lovely service. Stopped for a tea and coffee but wouldn't rate the service in the cafe. Better not return ....only been off the plane 30minutes!

The Guernsey Pearl is worth a quick stopover whilst exploring the island. It is a jewellery centre selling all kinds of pearls from expensive Tahitian to South Eastern seas pearls. There are varieties of necklaces, pendants, rings and bracelets on display. It has a tea room with canteen type tables and chairs plus outside tables and benches. It serves tea,... More

We popped in here for a quick cuppa, having got frozen by the blustery wind. The Pearl Centre has some beautiful pieces and some at very affordable prices and it leads into the cafe. At first sight this cafe is just utilitarian; wooden chairs, wipe-clean tablecloths and the odd gifts/prints for sale. Don't be put off. The cakes are the... More

We happened to come across "The Guernsey Pearl" by accident and called in for a Crab sandwich. The sandwiches were superb and we ended up going back several times during our visit to the Island. The Crab salads were just as good and we were also tempted into a "Full English Breakfast" on one visit. All the food was good... More

We stopped at Guernsey Pearl located across the road from Fort Grey in Rocquaine Bay to have a cappuccino, a snack and use the free WiFi. It is a cafe, and a gift shop. It has a large retail area and cafe/restaurant. One can dine indoors or outdoors with a nice view of the fort. There were clean much appreciated... More

We visited the pearl centre and enjoyed the information around the shop about pearls. There is a great variety of pearls from the "common" freshwater up to rare pearls worth thousands. For us the highlight was picking out our own oysters and cracking them open to discover a pearl! Each oyster is guaranteed to contain a pearl and it was... More

If you search amongst the pre frozen gateaus and cookies in jars masquarading as homemade there are a couple of freshly made cupcakes, and I spotted banana bread or it may have been a carrot loaf there today. Whilst we didnt eat the food, it did, to be fair look very nice. The roast dinners that went past smelt lovely.... More

Many thanks for your comments which are much appreciated . I have spoken to the member of staff concerned who admits that their customer service was not at its best on the day in question. Unfortunately another member of the public had in the morning complained bitterly to this member of staff about their inability to park in our car... More

The sign outside Guernsey Pearl advertises it as a "Visitor Attraction". Maybe I'm missing something, but to me it just looked like a large jewellers shop with a cafe and a rather tacky gift shop. It really wasn't worth the effort of getting out of the car

We do not charge entry to the 2000 year old Roman Wreck which you may have missed when you visited Guernsey Pearl which the majority of our customers find interesting . Maybe you can email me to explain what it was that you were expecting in order that we can improve the visitor experience with making a charge. More
