Lovely clean beach with good views of estuary and Bear island, a bit of a walk from nearby parking but well worth it.

Walked to this beach from hope cove and lovely little car park with gastro bus and free car park and toilets. Plenty of benches to eat at and relax

We arrived mid morning and although you have to pay £3.50 to park it is reasonable compared to hourly charges in other nearby beaches. The beach itself is lovely and clean and large. Although windy and cloudy this morning as it is westerly facing the...More

The beach and the cliff path are great for a long walk. BUT parking and the narrow (single track) road to and from the beach were a nightmare.

Wonderful and interesting beach to visit, particularly at low tide when there is a huge expanse of sand to walk on and you can follow the river inland. Fabulous fun for dogs and people with interesting scenery all round. Surfers and paddle boarders to watch...More

An excellent beach on an amazing coastline, when the tides out it is spectacular, with views over to Burgh Island, and Thurlstone rocks
