Huge stretch of beach which is backed up by the Braunton Burrows area of natural beauty behind. Little theer except the huge hotel at the top and a small beach shop and café etc at the bottom. A very traditional beach with golden sand un disturbed by slot machines and shops selling tat!

Wonderful sandy beaches that seem to go on for ever. Very large car park and the usual shops and food outlets. Very bracing but quiet, which is usual for the winter months.

Visited Saunton Sands beach in September. We were lucky with the weather and had super walks along the amazing beach in the sunshine with our dog. A seemingly endless beach, beautifully washed clean by the tide. Good round walk from and to the car park which has ample space.

This is our favourite beach in Devon, if not the UK. Long stretches of sand almost as far as the eye can see, at the back of which is the beautiful Braunton Burrows. Yes it can busy in the summer months but only near to the car park and shop. Walk further away from these and soon you will feel... More

With the tide out the 3 miles of sands and dunes are huge. Parking it bit dear, but safer than road-side parking.
