Lovely and very real working fishing harbour with great pubs and places to eat in (and out). Love the art and crafts markets in the old fish market. Enjoy a walk to the Breakwater for a short walk out to sea, or just sit on the harbour wall with a bucket and a fishing line and have fun crabbing!

Been here a number of times...lovely little fishing village that's full of character, lovely selection of little shops, pubs, cafes etc. Also abit if history too with The Golden Hind and the story of Sir Francis Drake. Boat trips are available or you can just walk around the harbour that always has something going on. Been there a number of... More

Brixham first and foremost is a working fishing port. It doesn't offer much in the winter, and you probably have to drive around Torquay and Paignton to get there. However there is a full scale model of the Golden Hind in the harbour, you can explore the fish market, and walk out on the breakwater. The Town behind the harbour... More

Six of us walked down to the harbour from the Berry Head hotel on a cold but dry day.It was bracing and beautiful. The harbour is lovely and typical of our working coastal harbours. Finding somewhere to eat out of season is difficult hence score of 4

This is the most charming, quaint fishing village I have ever visited. Our friends live in Brixham and we went here for lunch one day. We took a long walk through the city and then took the short walk around the harbor. The photo opportunities are endless. Would stay here and holiday for a fe days as it is that... More

independent shops are all around the harbour and pride of place is the replica of the golden hind. there is a special atmosphere that really draws you in to the place and not touristy like some other places nearby.

Friday and this so called busy harbour town is dead! More than half the shops are closed or being ripped apart . This spoils what is a lovely picturesque town . A huge shame

Brixham Harbour is a delight full place to see. Seeing a replica Golden Hind in the quay. Boats and people coming in and out , a café/restaurant on site. Great photo place.
