Lovely modern abbey..stunning chapel stain glass window.nice gardens. Onsite cafe with hot cold food available.. Thought overpriced but did use local produce. The usual book gift shops.the buckfast tonic wine is an absolute must buy..so good went back for more next day.adequate free parking.

Decided to call in to visit the Buckfast Abbey. Jaw dropping on arrival and even more so inside . The site is attractive and very well maintained and under further development . well worth a call.

If my memory serves me correctly, you can take photos in parts of the Abbey, but not with a flash. There are good guide books and postcards anyway. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Is it Possible to still buy Honey and Beeswax Candles? If so do you have an online Shop?
