We took a mini break and brought our bikes. Glad to find the Granite Way which connects with many other cycle routes in the area and made for some nice rides.

As we live only just a mile away from the Granite Way, we take the dog for walks along it, from Okehampton to Meldon. lovely mostly level walk.

We did part of dartmoor which took us down on to granite way , nice wide foot/cycle path, easy to walk along & safe for dogs to be off the lead

I have cycled the Granite way a few times and enjoy the Meldon Quarry to Sourton Down section the best. The old track is great to ride on, much like the Tarka trial we have in North Devon.
