Our cycle hire centre has direct access to The Granite Way. We provide quality bikes, friendly service and helpful advice with great value hire charges including family special offers. We're really passionate about all things bike and we want to pass on our love of cycling to you. At our centre we have everything you need for the perfect day out cycling, including Hamax child seats, Burley trailers, tag-a-longs and we even have a trailer you can hire for your dog! We are also a great place to stop for barista coffee, scrumptious cake or ice cream. Or maybe we can tempt you with a luxury hot chocolate? We are dog friendly with treats and ice creams for your pups! Please get in touch if you would like more details.

Great cycle hire/quality coffee stop. Lovely people: great service. Lots of useful advice. And the ride was gorgeous. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re here.

This was excellent, you could have half day or full day hire. Andrew who runs the place is extremely helpful and friendly. He makes sure you have the most suitable bikes. Then the ride along the Granite Way, was spectacular, the views were stunning. It was fairly easy going, a few rises but overall extremely enjoyable

Andrew , the owner was brilliant .The reply email he sent was full of helpful information.
The hirer shop was situated on the Sustrans route 27 near Oakhampton which we cycle along .
The electric bikes were in good working order.
We would highly recommend this company.

Andrew was so helpful setting up the bike just right for me - I had a fabulous time cycling the coast to coast and am now addicted to electric biking - I could climb any Devon hill and loved the speed ! Beautiful changing landscape xxx

Hired 4 x bikes from here yesterday. We are a family of 2 adults, a teen and a 7 year old. We were welcomed by Andrew who was very knowledgeable and friendly.
We had 4 superb bikes, one electric. They were all well maintained and spotlessly clean.
We are all in experienced but we’re provided with maps and locks and we just winged it.
We did the Granite Route and had so much fun!
100% recommend

Fantastic service. Friendly with excellent facilities. The bikes were of great condition and we had a trailer for our 5 year old. Stunning views over the viaduct toward Okehampton

Fantastic bike trail (and path for walkers) along Granite Way. 18 miles in total. I sent an email to book 2 e-bikes and 2 mountain bikes in advance of our holiday and Andrew replied immediately. We were not required to pay a deposit. All 4 bikes were in excellent condition and we were provided with helmets, locks and bike kit. Sadie was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely use Devon Cycle Hire again if in the same area. Highly recommend.

We hired 3 bikes and a dog trailer. I called ahead to reserve the bikes and the lady was really helpful on the phone. When we arrived she was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bikes were in excellent condition and were very comfortable, which is unusual for hired bikes. The trail was right next to where we picked up the bikes and the trail was fairly flat. I would definitely recommend using this cycle hire company I know we will when we return to Devon.
