Our cycle hire centre has direct access to The Granite Way. We provide quality bikes, friendly service and helpful advice with great value hire charges including family special offers. We're really passionate about all things bike and we want to pass on our love of cycling to you. At our centre we have everything you need for the perfect day out cycling, including Hamax child seats, Burley trailers, tag-a-longs and we even have a trailer you can hire for your dog! We are also a great place to stop for barista coffee, scrumptious cake or ice cream. Or maybe we can tempt you with a luxury hot chocolate? We are dog friendly with treats and ice creams for your pups! Please get in touch if you would like more details.

We hired four bikes which we booked in advance, the communication and booking was easy. The staff were all friendly and very helpful
The bikes were all of a high standard , the granite way is a great bike trail for a family day out.

Very friendly, helpful people! We are occasional cyclists, this was a perfect day out. Situated halfway along the Granite Trail so you can do the whole thing or just half.

I will certainly revisit this little gem. Great cycling with beautiful views and interesting viaducts. Lots of railway history to see. The bikes are first class as is the welcoming service. Very nice little cafe too with excellent coffee. Taking my wife next time- she'll love it.

We just stopped here for coffee on our way through the cycle path. My friend reckoned it was the best coffee she'd ever had so we visited twice. Lovely people running this place and very friendly.

Phoned up on a busy Saturday morning ( 20 bikes booked for group ) and the owners accommodated us with 2 great bikes. Booked for the day and spent a great day with fantastic views. Old church in lydford a must see , planned to stop at bearslake inn for lunch...DO NOT DO THIS , TOTAL IGNORANT PUB , went to highway man instead ,DO THIS . Owners of cycles very friendly and knowledgeable of granite way. Could have stayed talking to them longer but very busy . Highly recommend doing granite way with Devon cycle hire bikes.

My wife and I hired bikes whilst visiting the area. It was a simple process. Bikes were great and the staff were very welcoming and very helpful.
We cycled along the Granite way. Stunning views of the area and a couple of places we could stop for sight seeing and to get some food also.

Although we didn't hire bikes from here, we stopped for a cuppa and the people where lovely, very friendly and welcoming, also a great place to by bike accessories, but alas no cycling shorts I had a very sore bum!!! But we did laugh.

Great stop off for coffee/snack on the The Granite Way. Literally just 30 seconds walk from the trail. Fab coffee. Best cappuccino ever with gold chocolate sprinkles and always a very warm welcome.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, regardless of age or ability. We used them last year having not cycled since at school (now in 40's). This sparked a passion for cycling, so came back this year too. One of our group tried an electric bike for the first time and loved it. What a great way to explore. Will be back again for sure.

New owners are fantastic. They were so helpful with things we needed and their prices are amazing. Although food and drink might be considered limited their hospitality is excellent. They were so helpful with our little 4 year olds. If you want an excellent bike ride, supported by a highly professional and friendly company, you can not go wrong with Devon cycle hire.
