Our cycle hire centre has direct access to The Granite Way. We provide quality bikes, friendly service and helpful advice with great value hire charges including family special offers. We're really passionate about all things bike and we want to pass on our love of cycling to you. At our centre we have everything you need for the perfect day out cycling, including Hamax child seats, Burley trailers, tag-a-longs and we even have a trailer you can hire for your dog! We are also a great place to stop for barista coffee, scrumptious cake or ice cream. Or maybe we can tempt you with a luxury hot chocolate? We are dog friendly with treats and ice creams for your pups! Please get in touch if you would like more details.

Brilliant pit stop. Lovely, friendly staff. Were happy to assist me with some quick maintenance on my own bike while I had a coffee. Excellent service, thoroughly recommend.

A great day out on the trail. The bike hire company where great. Good quality bikes, helpful advice and very friendly service. The bikes were waiting for us on arrival having taken I heights one advance to get the set up right. We parked on site and had access to a loo and snacks and coffee before heading off. Had a good chat with the owners at the end and really like their set up. Highly recommend.

This was our first time renting bicycles and it was super easy. As we were in the area for a few days we booked ahead and hired 4 bikes. The service from start to finish was exemplary. The granite way is a nice family friendly cycle with stunning views and away from traffic. When we arrived our booking was checked and the bikes were ready and of good quality. They all worked well and we had no issues starting or finishing our day. The hire centre also has a cafe, which made for a pleasant rest at the end of our hire. Cakes, coffee and ice-cream all round. Many thanks and loved the coffee

We needed to hire an extra bike for my wife so we could both cycle with our 4 year old. The owners were really welcoming, helpful and friendly. They're located right next to the Granite Way which was ideal for our 4 year old who had only recently learnt to ride without stabilisers, mainly flat or very gentle inclines which she could easily mange uphill and control her speed on downhill.. We headed towards Lydford for just over a mile before turning back to Devon Cycle Hire for drinks, cake and ice cream to recharge the little legs. We then headed to Meldon Viaduct before turning back once again, all in about 6 miles which was perfect for a new little cyclist. Hope to go back soon.

We hired two bikes for a morning's ride along the Granite Way. The member of staff was really helpful and friendly, informing us of the various sights that we would encounter on our chosen route and suggesting where we might want to stop off along the way. The standard of the bikes was really great - the best quality bikes that we have ever hired on our trips around the UK. We highly recommend this company. We also thoroughly enjoyed our ice cream when we returned the bikes.

We hired bikes for 3. I would say this was the best bike hire company I have used. The bikes were great. Very comfortable seats. The staff were so friendly. It was great they had drinks for sale and toilets. Easy cycling on beautiful cycleways to the reservoir or gorge with lots of things to stop and see.
