A local history museum which tells the story of Combe Martin over three floors, social, trade and industry and maritime history. We run Seashore Safaris in the summer, children's activities and hold regular coffee mornings (see our website). The museum is Makaton friendly (symbol language)and accessible to those with a visual impairment through the use of the 'Talking Pen'. The museum is very child friendly and accessible to wheelchair users. We have a Copy Shop with A3/A4 printing,photocopying and laminating facilities. Free Wi-Fi. Summer opening hours - 10.30 - 5.00 7 days per week, winter hours - Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday 10.30 - 3.30

Fab little museum. £2.50 for adults and children free. Easily a 1 1/2 hours can be spent here. Lots of interactive displays for the kids. friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth a visit.

Spent a good 2hours in here, very good value for money the children said they would love to go again,using the equipment to look at items from the sea.

Small but interesting and well-laid out museum. Very helpful and friendly person in attendance. Told us all about the annual celebration of the capturing of the Earl of Tyrone. Well-worth the £1.50 entrance fee. Has a few gift type things for sale and books

Very interesting museum, well presented and includes input from local children. Volunteers were friendly, helpful and informative. Well worth a visit

This delightful museum is close to the harbour at Combe Martin and has a number of different displays about different periods of time in the history of Combe Martin - something for everyone including several child friendly interactive displays. The museum is on three floors...More

It maybe a small museum but full of interesting items. Especially having family connections to Combe Martin , we found it really interesting.

Hi Joanne, I only visited the museum so couldn't honestly say if you can or not. However if you give them a call on 01271889031 on Tues, Wed or Thurs between 10.30 - 3, these are the winter opening times, they will be able... More
