We took the festive river cruise which included mince pies and mulled wine which was a great touch. V good commentary from a knowledgeable professional crew, good facilities on board. Well worth a trip if you are in the area. Great value.

Bird Watching river cruise. Weather although breezy was bright, sunny and dry. Lots of space on the boat and a running commentary that identified the whereabouts of birds and gave information about them without being over detailed and verbose. Very well judged.
Delicious pre-booked pasties.
An excellent experience in all respects and we even managed a ‘dramatic’ rescue of a stranded windsurfer from a sandbank.
Thank you for an unforgettable birthday present.

Jurassic cruise - rough sea meant they had to change to river trip but still very enjoyable & a good way to see wildlife. Staff very friendly, lovely hot chocolate drink ( only £2) served to your seat. Clean toilets on board. Trip well worth the money. Will definitely repeat again in better weather & try some of the other trips too!

We enjoyed the cruise which was part of a National Holidays trip to Torquay. The trip was very relaxing and had a very interesting informative commentary. We sat on the upper deck enjoying the sunshine and had a great time as the boat meandered along.Hot and cold drinks served on board.

Booked the cream tea experience on the River Exe cruise from Exmouth for my birthday. Unfortunately wasn't the relaxed experience we had expected . There was a large coach party on the same cruise and they took priority. There were only 2 tables on the bottom deck which were taken up by the party. We were told we had to wait until they were served before we could order our drinks and tea as there was only one man serving, we were over 3/4 hour into the cruise before he got to us then we felt we had to rush as the ship was already on its way back. The scones already had the jam and cream on, we had expected we could make our own and hence as they had been sitting there for some time, were beginning to go soggy. It wasn't the fault of the cruise line, just unfortunate that we had chosen the same time as the coach party.
The cruise was good and the commentary informative but we were slightly annoyed with the situation so didn't enjoy it as much as we expected.

We did the Jurassic Coast cruise and had a very pleasant trip. The staff and service they provide is excellent. You can really see that they care about their passengers and the experience as a whole. Would love to do another trip with them.

Cruise is ideal for seeing the coast. You don't see so much driving inland. It rained but there is a cover on the boat. I would go again in better weather. It was good to see wild birds and boats.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. You certainly see spots of the coastline you would not be able to see inland or even walking along the coast. We hope to see you on board in the future

We were downstairs in the large cabin as the top deck was full but as there were only a handful of passengers there it was fine as you could walk about and the bar was there.
The boat cruised up to Topsham and back, no landing. looked at the sandbanks, one with resident seal and birds, a few houses and boats on the way.
Nice and dry inside when it rained.
Take your binoculars as every thing is away in the distance.
All a bit long winded for my taste but only way to see the estuary.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Our cruises are ever so popular even during the typical "off season" and seating is first come first served but as you mentioned there is plenty of space on the boat to move around. You may have passed them but there are binoculars on board as the Exe Estuary is home to a variety of wildlife throughout the year, especially during the winter season when they migrate over to here. We do hope to see you on board in the future and you may prefer one of our shorter cruises along the River Exe

Hi sorry to ask a stupid question, however, does the Jurassic tour include any facts about dinosaurs - asking for a little boy :)

There are not many specific facts about dinosaurs included but we do talk about when the roamed the earth! There are strong links between the Jurassic Coast and the Dinosaurs though!! We would recommend our Mini Coastal Cruise for families and young children, this is just a shorter version. We hope to welcome you on board soon :-)
Is the boat disabled friendly? Would it suit someone who can walk but with difficulty?

Yes I believe so. There was a wide flat ramp and ample staff on hand to help. The main deck was flat with a covered area should the British weather do what it does best. 😀

Does the Exeter to Exmouth cruise run in may?
stuartlinecruises
Exmouth, UK5 contributions
Hi!
Thank you for our enquiry. We have two options for the Exeter to Exmouth Canal Cruise in May 2019 - Monday 13th May or Tuesday 28th May. Both cruises depart Exeter Quay at 2pm and tickets can be booked via our website. Please be aware that these cruises are extremely popular as we only run about 7 per year and for this reason you will need to book in advance (we have already taken some bookings for these cruises, to give you an idea)!
Please also note that this cruise is not weather dependent. The majority of our cruises are unaffected by the weather as we operate the majority of our cruises on the River Exe, which is protected from waves. During the Summer months we do operate cruises out to sea and these cruises can be affected by the wind direction and speed.
All vessels are covered and heated on the lower decks :)

I would not suggest the return journey with children. We loved it but my reply is based on a child’s attention span. Hope this helps.

Do we need to prebook as we are coming on a coach tour in June 2018 & as I have mobility problems are there a lot of steps and can I leave my mobility scooter some where safe?
stuartlinecruises
Exmouth, UK5 contributions
Hi, if you know you want to do a cruise it is always best to book in advance, you can do this over the phone or online. There aren't any steps onto the boat as there is a walkway, so this is no problem. The mobility scooter can be left on our booking office or taken on the boat! I hope this is helpful and we look forward to seeing you in June!
Thanks
