Did the fish and fizz on a Friday night. Initially we were shocked by how busy it was as there was a long queue and we were 15 mins early too. However all was arranged well and we felt very happy with the seating inside as it was only 50 mins before sunset and it was bound to get cold (& wet as it happened)

Fish and chips handed out as you board and good value to buy extra fizz. Total trip was over 2 hours and we got up close to the queen mary 2 parked in the bay

Thank you Steve for reviewing our Fish & Fizz evening cruise. Not only having the best fish & chips in the UK form awards winning Krispies but also a close up of Cunards flagship the Queen Mary 2. What a great evening.

Great attention to health and safety.

We enjoyed an hours cruise from Topsham to Exmouth and a return train trip. The trains run every 30 minutes until midnight so the flexibility of staying a short or long time is up to you.

£11 per person was not too high a price to pay! Highly recommended.

Thank you for reviewing our Round Robin boat & train trip. This is such a popular trip as you have a lovely one hour cruise, dis-embark at Topsham to meander around it's quaint streets & then return at your leisure on the train. Makes for a lovely relaxing day out.

Have used this cruise twice, the first for the River exe cruise and then we enjoyed it that we decided to rebook for the 3 hour jurrasic coast cruise.

Both times we left from exmouth and found retrieving our tickets to be easy (we booked online and also booked our cream teas online - I highly recommend those!)

The river cruise was an hour and took us on a scenic route of the river- staff were all very friendly and provided the right amount of commentary for the trip.

The 3 hour trip took us all along the coast up to near sidmouth from exmouth, we saw a colony of kittiwake and a navy boat ship as a few of highlights.

We sat on the top deck both times and travelled on nice warm days- advise you out sun cream on as it can be deceitfully cool at sea!

For a family of four we found the trip to be good value for money.

A delightful senior greeted us and showed us the ropes, almost as if we were the only passengers on board that day. Sadly we weren't. If you want a seat on deck, join the queue a good 45 minutes before departure with your elbows at the ready, otherwise a seat above the engine room awaits you.

It was nonetheless a delightful hour, or so, circumnavigating the estuary, hearing about a WW2 shipwreck, another boat used in the D Day landings and Michael Caine's restaurant up in the hills. And nodda lodda people know dat - although it is a different Michael Caine, mind. The crew below deck were delightful people, who made us all feel very welcome.

Those on top deck pushed their way to disembark as fast as they had embarked, so we remained downstairs, shoveling some more coal into the engine and chatted to our fellow ship mates and a trainee guide dog, until the coast was clear. A thoroughly enjoyable little cruise, if only I could get over the morons who trampled their way over others to get the best seats.

Thank you Arthurlonius for your review with a difference. I'm glad you didn't get trampled in the rush, our crew do try to control boarding but some passengers have other ideas. We're glad it didn't reflect on your enjoyment of the trip.

Our visit was a trial run for a birdwatching trip in November. We arrived early, so bought a fabulous prawn sandwich from Fish on the Quay, nearby. People started queueing very early but the staff dealt with everyone quickly and efficiently. We were well separated. Staff toured making sure that we were happy and seeing if we wanted refreshments bringing from the bar. If I go again the cream tea will be on my wish list.
The skipper was informative. We were on the top deck and inappropriately dressed due to constantly changing weather conditions. A lesson well learned. Blankets are available, as well as umbrellas.
We were impressed with the value of the trip and the refreshments. A big thumbs up from me.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It's always nice to get feedback & we are glad that you enjoyed your trip (& sandwich, the crab ones are my favourite). We vey much look forward to welcoming you back on our birdwatching in November. The migratory birds here are well worth seeing.

I booked a trip along the Jurassic coast, whilst we were staying in Sidmouth for a holiday, we arrived in Exmouth a couple of hours early, so we could have a look around, have lunch etc. I would suggest getting there early as parking next to pier is very limited( and although not expensive, the only ticket machine is not easy to use in sunlight) plus it creates a queue !! The trip is very well organized, seating spaced,& the staff come round to ask you what you would like , plus each seat has a tray in front to put your drinks etc. probably the best boat trip we have been on.

Thank you so much for your lovely review of our Jurassic Coast Cruise. Although there is limited parking on the quay there is another carpark within a 5 minute walk of the quay & also roadside parking on the seafront. We are so glad that you enjoyed your trip & your comments have been passed onto the crew.

We were in Exmouth for the day and were very pleased to see that Stuart Line Cruises were operating that day. We immediately made a booking for the next trip which was the river exe tour. It was the start of july when lockdown was just easing, but we felt very safe. With it being open air and not full, there was plenty of room for social distancing. The staff both wore masks too, which was reassuring.
The commentary was very interesting, even being frequent visitors to Exmouth we learnt a lot! They offer refreshments so we opted for a glass of prosecco which was good value and the perfect accompaniment to a leisurely cruise.
A great way to see Exmouth from a different angle and spend an hour and a bit. Highly recommend!

The locals that stand around staring at you are little off putting but the boat trip itself was a fabulous trip, excellent value for money and I enjoyed myself. It was a little wet today but still plenty to see. The tour guide telling us the facts seemed confident with the facts he did deliver although would have loved a few more. The trip was about an 1hr 30 mins approx and worth every penny. Snacks and drinks are reasonably priced and I highly recommend to any families looking for an activity in the area.

Travelled yesterday on the Stuart line cruise from exmouth to Torquay & Brixham. Staff on board were excellent at all times and very aware of social distancing measures and ensuring that all passengers were sat with adequate spacing on board the top and lower decks. Excellent commentary from the captain throughout the journey. Great value for such a great day out.
