Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little ferry service. The team are always jovial and great with the kids. Surprised the maritime agency only allows up to 12 passengers when just 1 crew member aboard.

Short boat trip, thoroughly enjoyable. My 2 yo granddaughter even looked forward to it after initially being scared. Yes we had the seagull land on his head. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

A lovely local service. So easy to cross to Sheldon to explore the lovely and vibrant village. So much easier than travelling by road and across the road bridge

Great ferry, turned up very shortly after we arrived and swiftly carried us from Teignmouth to Shaldon. Plus, our captain had a seagul land on his head!

Closest place to park to catch ferry on Shaldon side

Shaldon is a small village so parking is limited, there are limited spaces throughout the village it self and some quite close to the beach area.

Is there room for a pushchair?

Yes they put pushchairs in the middle of the boat and help you on/off with them.

Is access on and off suitable for someone who walks with a stick?

Ohhh it may be a tiny bit tricky but as long as someone is there to help them it could be ok. Would be a shame to miss it, however by car the journey is only about 10 minutes.
