Tiverton museum tells the story of the whole of Devon. Fruit, cider , weaving , ship building and fisheries to name a few. Staff are friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable. Toilets good and cafe very nice. Something for all ages and disabled friendly.More

This is a very good social history museum. The volunteer staff are so helpfu and friendly . Much more to see than you would think from the outside. Well worth the entry fee.

Had a fab time. Looking at how things were. It reminded me of visiting an old relatives house. Made me remember how things used to be. Could have happily spent many more hours there. Well worth a visit

What a little gem for only £5.00p. This museum is crammed full of local historical artifacts both large and small, including a full size railway locomotive with engine noise and whistle for youngsters.

I don’t usually bother with museums but this one was really interesting. There’s alot of things to see and little activities for children, each gallery is very informative. My son loved the steam train and the items from the stations. Well worth a visit.

Hi Karen, Unfortunately only assistance dogs are allowed in the museum itself. If you're happy to 'park' your dog in the shade by the entrance or in our yard area we can provide a water bowl. With best wishes, Pippa
