The Arts Centre recently spent a Lot of money on refurbishment, but on really questionable things. A perfectly good café and box office were scrapped for inferior replacements. What really needed improvement was the seating and lighting for the auditorium. Unfortunately it remains the most...More

Comfortable cafe at the back of the theatre , we've only visited for morning coffee but other meals are served. Very nice coffee and fresh scones. Very fairly priced too.

So, you have a cafe seating 20 or so. You have one person manning the coffee machine who also delivers the coffee to you in your seat. Work out how long it takes to make a latte macchiato double decaff cappuccino or whatever stupid drinks...More

Often pop in to the Arts Centre whilst shopping. A superb venue for exhibitions, lectures and general entertainments. Super cafe space and conveniences. Ground floor well able to accept wheelchairs. Not sure about upstairs gallery.

Since the Arts Cafe cafe was refurbished I'd been meaning to stop by for coffee. Before it had been a little old-fashioned with cheap tables and chairs and grubby tablecloths. Now quite transformed and seemingly smart. But, with only one person serving and most of...More

Have visited here a few times now, mostly for the excellent live music events hosted here, or the equally excellent art exhibitions. A real jewel in Bridport, that is staffed by lovely, lovely folk, and is well run and well maintained. Don't hesitate to visit.

We enjoyed a three-course meal before the show and were then treated to 2 hours of Taiko drumming! Good venue, all reasonably priced and very friendly staff.
