After getting the steam train from Swanage we popped into the model village. This is a gem for young and old it's disabled friendly and the staff are very helpful. There's lots to see with the castle as the main attraction. You can pop your head in the little gap in the hedge to spot kingfishers if you are lucky.... More

We had half price entry as it's the beginning of the season. Great model village and lots of fun things for children - fairy garden, lawn games and other quirky things. Good coffee and range of cakes for afterwards. Friendly staff.

Lovely little model village in a very pretty village. Cost just £2 each (normally £4). Very well maintained with lawn games for children.

Good home cooked food. Lovely cakes and good quality coffee. Owner very pleasant and welcoming with a sense of humour! Staff very helpful and all give the impression they enjoy working at the coffee shop. Breakfast excellent, nicely presented and staff very accommodating. My husband and I come here for breakfast and have been many times for a light lunch.... More

The model castle was certainly great to see by showing what the original Corfe Castle looked like - but that was it. The little model houses at its base and the attempt to make the rest of what is a back garden interesting in my view have failed. The ticket is over-priced so I'm not surprised they say you can... Very nice place. Gardens were lovely and there's games for children to play outside (croquet/Jenga) which people were making good use of despite the weather!. Didn't go to the tea rooms next door but it looked very nice

This was a very cute model village and gardens which was quite small, our kids loved it. They also had a lovely cafe for my coeliac son and he could have almost everything on the menu.

Something for everyone. An excellent attraction. and very well thought out. Loved the fairy garden. Lots of thought has been put into this Village. We had been to see the castle and this gave us an insight of how life had been. Cost very reasonable and a lovely welcome by the lady at the till.

This is a very interesting place to see , a small scale model of Corfe Castle complete with castle and other historical items. Set back in large gardens with plenty of space. Our favourite was the fairy garden. Everything well made and very helpful and friendly staff. Also a very good gift shop and tea rooms Also a good model... More
