Great trip up to the light at the top of the tower. Vey interesting and so much history. A shame the old lamp will soon be replaced by LED. Won't be quite the same!

Paid parking is a pain but loads of good photo opportunities all around. Sunset and sunrise are the best times to visit. And it's not crowded in the winter months.

Only in the shop ( typical & hypocritical) Not allowed up the stairs, nor will they watch over your pet. Rubbish. Left after an hour’ s walk without climbing it.
