Andy is a GREAT tour guide!!! My wife and I had only a somewhat short time with our cruise-ship docked at Portland. But, in addition to the great scenery on that coast, I had several 'bucket-list' interests (e.g. Mary Anning practically 'invented' the science of Paleontology in the 1800's right there at LimeRegis). So Andy and I compared notes via email in the weeks before our trip, and he came up with a plan to visit everything that I wished, in the time available. And, when we finally met at the ship, Andy turned out to be a very interesting & fun guide!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!!!

With so much to see and do it's vital to be guided by an expert. Andy helped us to make the most of our time on the coast and he did so with enthusiasm, fun and plenty of local knowledge mixed with fascinating facts.

Andy made our day on the Jurassic Coast one of the best of our six-week trip through Europe! He knows so much about the area and was constantly able to tailor the experiences to our particular interests, activity level, pace, and even a last-minute need to change things up to avoid an unexpected traffic jam. We took beautiful walks all alone in areas no tourist would ever find, enjoyed the best scones of our trip in a small town we never would have discovered on our own and didn't have to worry about a thing. Plus, Andy is simply an enjoyable, easy-going person to be with and really caters to your desires so you have the best day possible. So much better than piling onto a bus with 20-40 other people.

Andy organised and led a stunning 2-hour walk on Studland for me and my choir group during our singing tour to Bournemouth this May.

Andy is an excellent guide. He led our group of just over thirty walkers in a relaxed and fun way, whilst imparting expert local knowledge and sharing interesting anecdotes en route. We took in Sandbanks (apparently the most expensive real estate in Europe), views over to Brownsea Island, D-D exercises location, the dramatic Old Harry Rocks as well as beautiful views of the Jurassic Coast - the scenery on Studland really was stunning.

In terms of organisation, Andy couldn't have done more. Right from researching and then booking a coach to take us on the ferry from central Bournemouth over to Studland, to finding out if 'Rex the dog' would be allowed on the vehicle, to answering individual queries of walkers, Andy was a star. The group was certainly safe in his hands. He also fielded several phone calls with great patience whilst leading the walk, so helping a couple of our choir walkers who were delayed catch us up.

Thoughtful, accommodating, knowledgeable and fun - Andy is a great guide. Would thoroughly recommend.

A super day out. Andy catered for whole family group. Gave his excellently valued time and knowledge showing us rural Dorset and sharing sights and less well known places to visit. He is clearly highly regarded with so many people saying hello. I cannot recommend him enough!

We (two couples) spent a most enjoyable last day of our Southampton-Southampton cruise touring the beautiful Jurassic coastline and nearby villages with Andy. After picking us portside, Andy introduced us to panoramic vistas along with the history of Portland, Abbotsbury village, Chesil Beach, Poundbury, the Isle of Purbeck, and Swanage, among others. Our stops ranged from oceanside to mountain top, and were highlighted by a walk along Swyre Head (the highest point of the Isle of Purbeck --extremely peaceful and beautiful) and a refreshing stop for "cream tea" and visit in the charming village of Corfe Castle. Andy was a pleasure to work with in planning our day, and was very knowledgeable, relaxed, and professional. Highly recommend spending a day with Andy.

My wife and two teenage daughters and I spend a day with Andy. We docked in Dover with the Disney Magic. I had booked a private tour with Andy after reading a number of reviews and discussion both here and on Cruise critic. Andy met us at the Ship and we had a nice comfortable ride to Stonehenge. We were able to arrive at Stonehenge before the ships tour due to the route we used being difficult for large motor coaches to use. Andy had arranged our tickets so we were able to immediately take the shuttle to the henge. We enjoyed a couple of hours at Stonehenge and then Andy took us thru Salisbury on our way back to several very nice spots along the coast. Andy is fun to spend the day with and I felt we saw much more that we would have with the ships tour. It was a real bonus that the cost of this private excursion was a bit less than the cost would have been had we booked the tour thru Disney for the 4 of us. If you are thinking about using Andy stop thinking and book your tour now.

Andy met us at the boat and gave us a wonderful tour, answering a myriad of questions, mostly historical and bring the area to life. Descriptions from skipping bombs on the water, to taking us along the jurassic coast, describing Portland stone versus other stones, discussions of local and national politics, day to day life, etc, he laid out a wonderful view of Portland and the jurassic coast. We were lucky to have a beautiful day to see, but it was amplified by the company of Andy at Jurassic Jaunts - a treasure trove of knowledge. I recommend him highly for those of you who wish to see not only the regular stuff, but the off the routine track as well. Just was a wonderful day for us.

We had an excellent drive in Andy. The ship came in late and still managed to get is both to Stonehenge and Salisbury to see the cathedra.. The car was modern and clean. Andy really did an excellent job of dealing with a late arrival and as a tour guide. Note that the price for Stonehenge includes the donation at the cathedral so bring your ticket. Get the Stonehenge ticket on line early to avoid the lines. .
