What a fantastic little pub! The family came in one sunday for a couple of drinks and ended up having a sunday roast! Although its preferred to book in advance we explained and the landlord was very understanding. Food was delicious and very well priced.

Visiting Portland for a mini break with the family and the house we were renting was less than 50m from the George. Great pub, both welcoming and friendly as well as serving a good range of drinks and very good food. Recommended
