Nice area and hire facilities for the water available. You can park at any beach and walk through. The beach is dog friendly but between may and september your dog needs to be on a lead.

If you want a quiet beach then South Beach is the place. Small and secluded with a small cafe doing drinks and hot rolls. Fantastic view of Old Harry Rocks. Early is best as the sun goes over the hill . . .

The beach is normally a lovely place to visit at any time of the year, but yesterday it was a no go area, the smell from masses of rotting seaweed was unbearable. We were told it wasn't going to be cleared and it's half term holidays next week...More

Tried fishing off the beach down by the Chain Ferry. Not easy due to so much weed. Two more fisherman had no more luck than me!

There is parking and easy access to the beach and the surrounding nature reserve. A super and safe beach for children to enjoy. There are cafes or you can picnic.

A lovely bay, quite a lot of seaweed at one end but a great place for a long walk, especially on a sunny day.......and they serve really good ice cream in the Middle Beach Cafe!

Having stayed locally in corfe castle we decided to take a wander along the beach early one Saturday morning. It was well worth the effort, parking was easy and the beach itself is beautifully maintained. The cafe is also reasonably priced.

Yes. From May to September dogs should be on leads on beach but can be off lead in the water. From October to April there are no restrictions. Dog bins and water bowls available at car parks.
