A nice beach, with flat sand and quite a few toilets, and a National Trust cafe. We saw grebes, sanderling, Brent geese and red-necked merganser, on a day when the sea was calm and glassy.

Yes. From May to September dogs should be on leads on beach but can be off lead in the water. From October to April there are no restrictions. Dog bins and water bowls available at car parks.
