This is a great safe beach for children, the beach is long and very walkable, we enjoyed a lovely walk along here, it was very windy but envigorating. Summer time it's a great place to spend a day.

Yes. From May to September dogs should be on leads on beach but can be off lead in the water. From October to April there are no restrictions. Dog bins and water bowls available at car parks.
