Great to see the monkeys up close, there are some real characters! The monkeys are very well looked after and there enclosures are spotless. We were there at feeding time and it was great to see them eating. Unfortunately as it was cold most of them were inside or cuddled up. We will definitely go back.…

Visited Monkey World as a last minute change of plans, had heard good things but left very disappointed. Social distancing was average and they seemed more worried about the apes catching something than the visitors with all children over the age of 3 having to wear a mask. People were cramming close to the viewing window areas ignoring the 2m rule to get a selfie. Also they had chosen to close 2 of the play parks due to CO-vid but one was still open? Seemed a bit of a double standard as it crammed all of the kids into one park instead of 3 making contact more likely. Due to the poor weather most of the apes were hiding in the larger enclosures which isn’t the parks fault, just bad luck. However we won't be visiting again in the foreseeable future. Though visitor numbers were reduced and all should in theory have felt safe,it wasn't. Social distancing wasn't observed by adults round the park. In the lunch queue the man behind me was unacceptable close even if there wasn't a pandemic. Maybe a member of staff on hand would have helped? So we left without lunch and without a gift shop visit as we didn't feel safe . Very sad.…

Should have visited in May but closed so we booked a few days away (200 miles from home) in October. The weather was kind most of the day, the park was well kept, the signs and information boards both informative and plentiful. Our oldest grandson used to watch on tv and has waited 10 years to visit and he was impressed. Two teenagers occupied for most of the day- the park has got it spot on. The Covid restrictions were a minor distraction that we hardly noticed. We have 10 other younger grandchildren so I am sure we will be back again!…
