Great place to be on a sunny Winter's Day. Already loads of snowdrops out and it's only January. The grounds are beautiful. So many different parts to see, for example, the kitchen garden with 'The Shed' open for hot drinks etc, the sunken garden, full...More

Although not all the rooms were open on the day we went the guided tour was very informative. It's necessary to pre-book the tour but this is easily done online beforehand. A very impressive collection of paintings is on display, including works by Titian and...More

What a gorgeous looking building. The tours need to be prebooked but if there is space they will add you to a tour. It was really nice to have a guide who was full of information but after 70 mins it was a bit over...More

Loved the house all done up with the beautiful trees and decorations and the illuminated walk was great. Father Christmas was fantastic.

We visited in January and therefore some rooms were not open however the guided tour (c 75 minutes) more than made up for this. A great house with rooms to a variety of styles meaning each room offers something new. Art is exceptional with pieces...More

I visited before Christmas. It was alright, then this week I found that a Fox had been torn to pieces by hunters licensed by the National Trust. So, all you reviewers who found it enchanting, did you know that while you were singing “All things...More

This was a v disappointing visit. Must of the rooms were shut, due to refurbishment. This was not made clear when we paid for four adult tickets. The visit was pointless, as most of the house could not be seen. I would advise it’s best...More

Went to Kingston Lacy on the Friday before Christmas and it was surprisingly busy. We decided to do the Woodland walk and it was really good and easy as it was firm under foot. After this we visited the shop which had a few reduced...More

If you are a member of the National trust you do not pay. You may need to book a time for the visit during the busy season. Check your national trust App.
