Kingston Lacey is our nearest National Trust property so we visit here a few times a year. Firstly we’ll done National Trust for keeping open as much as possible during 2020 & for keeping the gardens as well maintained as possible. Very impressed with the booking system introduced by the National Trust & the volunteers working there checking entry times etc during these difficult Covid restrictions. Had a lovely long walk around the whole woodland area as well as some of the more ornamental gardens that permit dogs. The walk itself is on fairly flat land & I believe unless you had major walking difficulties most people would find this an easy walk. Well done also for all the work involved with creating the fairy trail. Lovely to see children enjoying it 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️ No doubt we will visit again.

EXCELLENT. We went yesterday evening, including a wheelchair user, and it was Fantastic. Although it was well attended and appeared busy in the car park, the queue was well managed and only took 2 minutes. There were additional public toilets before you went in. Food and drink stands are as soon as you go in, then you begin to walk around. Most of the paths are very wide and people can pass you if they wish. There are reminders all the time about social distancing and stay in your groups. Most people were wearing masks so we felt very safe. The lights were so magical, very clever, the enchanted forest was amazing! Took us around 1hr 15 minutes to walk round slowly - we didn't feel rushed and would urge you all to go!

We went as a family to the see the Ignite light display (having been to Stourhead last year which was fabulous). What a disappointment! Refreshments at the beginning of the walk and not the end! No funfair rides for the children at the end. A long walk to get to anything and then not worth it. NOTHING spectacular or memorable - all in all not a good experience though I will say that the car parking and getting in were very efficient. And to cap it all more expensive than Stourhead.

This event was disappointing on so many levels. It was a very dull display with little or no colour. There was nothing related to Christmas apart from one robin. It was grossly over priced and more importantly than anything it was not COVID compliant at all. Yes it was outside but little chance to social distance. Pleased that was over 14 days ago! Never again.

Magical snd imaginative. I especially liked the storbook theme through the woods and looking back at fields of lights. The best display they have had. Safety very well thought out. Great change from usual santas and snowmen
