Had a business lunch with my German colleagues, most enjoyable, they liked the quirkiness if the venue, good meals as well.

An occasional visit for a beer sometimes turns into tea as Ellie Mae's tearoom is part of the same pub building. Marston beers are on offer usually with Hobgoblin as well. Food is served in both parts.

Sunday roast here is becoming a habit! Just tasty honest food. I would also recommend the chicken ciabatta with roasts and gravy which is delicious and as a special treat some cake from Ellie Mia's tea room to finish. Great attentive staff!

Really great place, large range of drinks, extensive "pub grub" menu. The homemade steak pie was delicious.

A very lively welcoming pub with good home cooked food. Staff are lovely and willing to please. I had dressed crab salad with warm new potatoes, delicious. Gammon and pie also well like the fish was massive.
