Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was not to bad a day. It was searching for clues for easter egg hunt. The gift was a nice thing to do just a pity they didnt give baby a wee chocolate bunny . I know his ticket was free but with 3 adults and a older boy, the toddler shpuld jave beem given a little something to. He wasnt old enough to recieve a gift was he was able to see older boy getting something but nothing for him. It wasnt to bad a day it could do with some well needed tidy up and a lick of paint.

Amazing Christmas fairy trail. Everyone was so friendly and took time to speak to my 2 year old. Santa was amazing and it’s the first time my 2 year old has went anywhere near santa, he took his time to speak to her. Definitely would recommend

I wish there was a box for ‘unrated’ as I have been robbed £80! I have been to many of these experiences over the past 8 years and never once have I left a review however on this occasion I do not wish this experience on anyone else and want to warn you from wasting your well earned money!! This is absolutely the worst ‘Christmas’ experience I have ever attended from start to finish! Most of the characters were not even in character just signposting us around the trail that was so muddy we could go any faster to get of over with! I had to tell my 4 year old that the girl in front of us was Elsa from frozen?! The Elf costume was so dirty and scary for the children they didn’t want to go near him. Santa was the worst and couldn’t remember names of children and appeared to be a bit confused! The presents were not reflected the price this cost-very poor quality! I had to tell the children that wasn’t really Santa! there was no hand-washing facilities and toilets were unusable-absolutely gross and a health hazard! Mrs Claus took 30 minutes to give the children hot chocolate and the craft was a digestive biscuit with icing(again took 20minutes for icing to arrive) with marshmallow stuck on top…took so long we didn’t have time for the ‘magic show’ however judging on the experience we didn’t feel we would be missing very much at all! should have been cancelled and would like my money back…absolutely awful!such a waste of time and money!

So disappointed with this Christmas experience - we went Sunday 10th and it really should have been cancelled due to bad weather conditions. We went, thinking it would be OK due to it still being open. The walking conditions were so dangerous despite being appropriately dressed and the costumes for the characters were absolutely awful - the elf on the shelf’s eyes were literally ripped open so the person inside could see better. The biscuit decorating was far too crowded, my daughter’s just had their biscuit & decorations thrown at them, told to sit down and decorate by quite an unfriendly Mrs Claus with barely any interaction at all. I know we’ve clearly been spoilt by other experiences in the past but this one was wasn’t good at all. Santa was not great either - called my girls by the wrong names repeatedly despite being handed a (very obvious) card with their names and ages on (my eldest daughter is quite obviously taller and older!) and being corrected by me. It was just a complete mess.

Overpriced, run-down, and low effort. Honestly felt like we'd been scammed after paying £16 for 2 adults and a toddler.

If graffiti covered, damp, wooden sheds randomly sprinkled throughout the woods sounds like a magical experience, then you'll love it.

An even nicer touch were the massive signs literally everywhere on the trail, demanding you pay to be on the trail or be prosecuted - you're reminded genuinely 20 times. Grim.

A lovely afternoon activity, we were lucky and there was noone else on the trail. Lots to see, feel and do. Our son really enjoyed being here. The only downfall is poor direction to the sign in cottage.
