Midtown Makers Studio & Shop is a Craft Collective which sells Handcrafted, Unique, Bespoke items such as Ceramics, Textiles, Beads & Jewellery, Memory Bears & Cushions, Paintings, Embroidery, Melts & Candles,Hand Made Soap, Decoupage & Crocheted items. plus much, much more. We are a collection of local artists from All Over Northern Ireland, starting up our very own businesses.

Coming into the store I was greeted very warmly by the receptionist Jim. He made sure we felt welcomed as I was completely stunned by what was in the shop. He told me what I can find and through walking around the shop it was filled with many talents. There were bespoke handmade crafts, to photographs and even a local painter in action. Overall an amazing experience from the get go! I'm to go on a workshop soon and I'm very excited

This place was fun. Inside were different displays of work by different artists. Given that galleries can charge a big chunk out of their prices, this kind of communal gallery space was a good practical alternative. I liked a photo someone had merged together of a stag above the Dark Hedges. Someone else had very colourful goat portraits. Well worth a look.

Hi would just like to recomend a visit to Midtown Makers in Ballymena,Lots of beautiful handmade gifts,you will be spoilt for choice!! Also brilliant workshops, Iv'e attended quite a few,but I must say Felting Crazy, is my favourite, Shelley Steele is a brilliant teachers,lovely relaxed workshops,highly recomended!!

I have attended a couple of workshops here , found them very interesting and informative and have booked for more like a wee peruse in the shop too , lovely helpful people ! Highly recommend

Whenever I visit Midtown Makers I am always the only person in the shop. I find this depressing because it is a real treasure trove of local craft work and the very place to find an unusual gift. It really deserves to be better patronised.

This place is an Aladdin’s cave of handmade items and a great venue for classes in a variety of crafts. For visitors to N Ireland and Ballymena, it is the perfect place to pick up a gift or souvenir- no nasty tourist tat here!! Also, the artists often take on commissions for individual works. I would highly recommend a visit to Midtown Makers!!

Trying to fathom why here is listed as a tourist attraction on tripadvisor when it is a basic shop. There is nothing attractive about here except for some of the things sold.

This shop is packed with great hand crafted gifts I was spoiled for choice. Got little wooden animal related gift. Fabulous card. A painting and there are also craft supplies. A few months ago I also attended a jewellery making workshop and came home with a beautiful necklace. Earrings and bracelet
