It is very easy to pass this and not pop in. It is well worth going in and climbing the short flight to the top.

Stumbled on this by accident when looking for a good shot of the bridges the worlds smallest working light house it was open at 8am donation box in the entrance there is also a visitors book to sign.

This is the smallest lighthouse I have ever seen, and so sweet! From the top you will not be able to take better photos because of the glass windows, but it is nice anyway.

There isn't much to see, to be honest, but it's free (although please make a donation) and quaint, so make sure you go down to the quayside to see this while admiring the beautiful bridges.

As well as the railway bridge queensferry has another claim to fame the smallest working light tower in the world. It sits practically underneath the bridge. It is free to go in and doesn't take very long, but do check when it is open.

Yes the lighthouse is very suitable no more than 10 steps and he can see the lamp and the see out the glass . there is a bit of history at the foot of the stairs
