Russ and Elsa are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people, who made our honeymoon experience fantastic. We were given a wedding voucher by our friends and redeemed it whilst on Arran and although we had a wide array of weather Russ and Elsa made sure that our experience was enjoyable, memorable, special and unique to us and we can't thank them... I have visited Arran every year for more than 35 years. Some years I have been over four or five times. I have walked every stretch of beach, climbed most of the peaks, fished, hiked, explored and loved every inch of this beautiful island. For a very special treat my little family (myself, my lovely woman and our teenage son)... More

Trip was arranged as a surprise for me and oh boy what a day. We were met on the pier by Elspeth and Russ. Really friendly couple who got us kitted up and on our way. I have never been on a rib before and oh boy what a rush! Russ was knowledgeable guide that knew all the best places... More

Great views of the island from the sea, out round Holy Isle down to Kildonan. Back past Kings Cross, inside Holy Isle and back to Lamlash. Comfy seats, water proof jackets and life jackets provided, great wee trip, enjoyed by all

On Saturday 26 September, we were fortunate that our visit to Arran coincided with a lovely weather window, so we were able to go on a trip out to Ailsa Craig. Fascinating to see the remains of the quarrying industry which was carried on there until the early 70s, and the gannetry on the West side of the island. Can't... More

We had booked for a longer tour but the weather was against us. Fortunately we managed an hour tour the day before we left Arran. It was great fun, especially doing the "figure of eights" & rising over our own choppy water. We saw lots of wildlife, include wild ponies, goats, jellyfish and - fortunately - a couple of seals... I have been visiting Arran for over 50 years and this was my first time viewing familiar landmarks from the water. To be honest, I was a nervous passenger heading out to Pladda. Out of my comfort zone. I needn't have worried. Russ and Elspeth were so considerate and amazing. My fears fast vanished and it was a simply amazing... More

I took the 1 hour tour around Holy Isle with Russell and Elspeth Cheshire. This was great fun and very informative. We were kitted out in wet weather gear, given a short safety brief and away we went. The Lamlash Bay no take zone was explained to us and its limits shown. Elspeth was a mine of information concerning the Buddhist... More

If visiting Arran the trip around the Holy Isle is not to be missed. We went on the trip with our children (aged 4 and 8). Russ and Elspeth are so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The trip on the rib was a superb ending to our holiday on the island. The sights and adventure is not to be missed. Thank-you... More

Took the one hour Holy Isle tour - it's one of the best things to do on Arran. It's fun, informative, with beautiful views. Full waterproofs and safety equipment is provided and there's even a dog in a life jacket! Highly recommended.
