Arriving to the bad news of the river being too low for our half day rafting was a low start to the day and the alternative offer of tubing didn’t really interest us. Jim (Crocodile Dundee👌🏼) was quick to offer assistance with our options and was very accommodating by putting us on the full day rafting trip with no extra fee.
All of the staff are very warm and friendly, looking to get to know you and sort your every need!
Knowledgable and highly experienced tour guides made the full trip feel personal for my girlfriend and I and were able to give us the fun facts about the river and surrounding area. Andrew was even able to offer us information on local restaurants and bars.
We enquired about other ACE Adventures and will definitely use them again for future trips. The camping/glamping offers look and sound amazing!

Joined the 'Pack Rafts' excursion on a chilly Saturday in September. This activity I think is fairly new and is using an inflatable kayak to travel down the River Findhorn over white water sections and then much calmer quieter sections.
I had only kayaked on Loch Lomond before, so this was something quite different but was a great experience.
I arrived at about 10am and met the three other people who were joining the trip and we got geared up with sturdy thick wetsuits, buoyancy vests and helmets. Our guide Callum gave us a brief briefing before we carried our equipment down to the river and after a quick trial in a calm section, we were onto our first rapid! I fell in twice, but easily was back in my boat each time with the help of the others.
For the price I feel it was good value for money and a lot of fun, especially to try something new.

We went on the family whitewater rafting, a great time just a shame there wasn't a little more water in the river, but that is beyond ACE's control :-). Our river guide Dougie was fantastic, as was the second boats guide Pete, I think, (rainbow coloured shades), they really made me feel safe and confident in their abilities. I will be back to ACE Adventures for the more challenging days they offer soon. Cant speak highly enough of ACE as a well organised friendly team. Thank you all at ACE especially Dougie for a great morning on the river.

Top spot bell tent - 1 night of fun
We booked very last Minute for 1 night in a bell tent. Price was ok at £90 as sleeps 6 and can have a dog too. (We took ours and he loved it)
It is a very secure and large bell tent with very comfy mattresses, fire pit and seating outside, and quite secluded.
Basic showers and toilets and parking at the main
Building, small kitchen facility for all tents to share.
Perfect location for exploring the north east, wonderful weather made it perfect.
If staying longer we would have booked some activities.
Highly recommend - a magical family experience to remember.

We have just returned from a family river
Rafting session. Arriving feeling a little apprehensive we were quickly put at ease by the professional friendly atmosphere.
Rachel was our guide. She was really lovely and had an obvious love for the water. We spotted salmon jumping and it was so peaceful
Gliding down the river. The best part has to be the rapids. Giggles all round and a brilliant family bonding experience.
We would highly recommend the company and will definitely be returning to try out another adventure soon 😀

We visited on the 17th September. It was a great sunny day, could not have asked for better weather. We had opted for cliff jumping and river tubing, it was a great experience with our guide Andrew. He navigated the waters well with multiple cliff jumps, if you are looking for a thrill it is a great activity to do. Ace adventures were well prepared with wet suits and protective equipment and it was a easy experience all round. Thanks for a great day.

Had a wonderful day white water rafting. The conditions were ideal, the weather was perfect, and Andrew and his team (Rachel and Lachlan) were brilliant. A skilled water man, rafter and guide, Andrew kept us informed throughout with his quality "bants"! Our small group was lots of fun, and it also meant we had quality time on the river. The perfect day. Only a shame I couldn't stay longer, camp, and do more of the adventures.
I'd recommend this to anyone. The Findhorn is a stunning river and ACE put on a great session. Thanks again!

We booked this as an introduction to white water rafting for our kids (aged 12 and 14). The set up was very professional and adherent to the covid rules with temperature check/mask wearing inside and on bus (but not while on raft) and plenty sanitizer. The equipment was also of a very high standard. Our guide was Rachel who was fab and shared her vast experience of rafting with us. Great day, happy kids, would definitely go for the full day more advanced option when the boys are both old enough next time.

Booked this as we were travelling North to Aviemore, and wanted a bit of "excitement"" for our daughters( aged 12 and 16)
From the minute I arrived, the crew were making sure we were made welcome, and how to check in for our activity.
Once we were suited and booted, we were ferried by mini bus on a short 5 minute drive to the location for our white watwr tubing and cliff jumping.
The staff were first class from the off, and made sure we all had a great time.
Location wise....some of the best scenery I've witnessed in Scotland.
Afterwards photos were purchased which are off very high quality.
Compliments to all involved, and all the best for the future....we will be back

This was our first time kayaking or Canoeing on moving water. We had myself and two teenage girls. Right from the start Ollie, our instructor, was welcoming and reassuring.
After the obligatory fight with wet suits and boyancy aid it was a short ride in a minibus to the river.
Ollie have a safety brief and covered the basics of paddling and then we were on the water.
We were a mixed group, the girls have some experience and I have quite a few hours of flat water paddling. Ollie pitched things perfectly, giving lots of help and advice by also letting us take our time and learn from it own mistakes.
The river was awesome. A perfect mix of adrenaline pumping rapids and tranquil wild life.
We were on the water for over 2 hours. A great experience.

We are a couple, is it OK to do the tubing and cliff jumping if you don't have kids?
Also, do you have wetsuits for all shapes and sizes?

Tubing and cliff jumping is totally for adults too and they have wetsuits for all sizes.

This is an odd question, I wear a hearing aid and would have to take it out to stop it getting wet . What should I do with it , leave it at camp?I was also going to wear ear plugs to stop water getting in so I’ll not hear much . What’s your advice ?

Hi Mary, good question. If you bring your hearing aid along and a box, bag or something to put it in after the safety brief we can keep it secure while you do the activity. See you soon :)

Hi, My family and I are up in Findhorn at the end of March. Reviews of your activities are wonderful, but the children I am travelling with are aged 8 and 5 (I am their aunt). Do you have activities which might be appropriate for that age? Kind regards, Julie

The best activity for them will be the half day rafting trip on the river Findhorn. TripAdvisor wont let me post the link but if you go to aceadventures co uk and look for Findhorn - Family Rafting under Activities - White Water Rafting
We have wet suites that will fit and its a nice introduction to rivers.
