Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing experience!! Very qualified and communicative guides, we felt that we were in good hands. We encountered a couple of rapids (for two we had to get out and the guides discussed if and how to tackle them) which were good fun and made our adrenaline spike:) The cliff jump was cool too. We were incredibly lucky with great weather; sunny and crisp. The fog at the end was the perfect finish.
The only advise I’d have is to wear (or ask for) something like neoprene socks and gloves. It got pretty chilly which took away some of the fun (only like 5%!).
Thanks again team, you’re ACE!

Bought this experience for my 2 sons (14&16) Great communication before hand and they came back buzzing from the experience. Great fun, the instructor and other guides were very good at their jobs and I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Photo package is a great bonus and worth the money.

Thank you to Ace Adventures for such a brilliant day out! We've been lucky to raft in many places, but this was by far the best rafting trip we've ever had - a stunning location, amazingly fun rapids, and such a long time on the river. It's amazing value for money and it feels like you are going on a real adventure and journey. The guides were brilliant too, so welcoming and friendly. We'd love to come back and do it again!

A group of menopausal ladies wanted to push themselves and have some fun, so we did the high ropes course. It was so much fun, and we all felt a great sense of accomplishment afterwards. The instructors were brilliant, and so helpful. We would highly recommend!!

Fantastic rafting experience today! Thank you to our brilliant guides, Gustavo and Mateus. Both very skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 children. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Living locally, we know the River Findhorn quite well, but going down it with Ace Adventures was fantastic and so tranquil. We got to see parts of the river that aren't easily accessible otherwise. The rapids were fun, but the river was low when we went, so got stuck a fair few times; (we also got to go in individual rafts instead of one big raft due to the low level of the river and that was something we hadn't prepared for but it worked just as well). The cliff jumping was fantastic, and I would recommend anyone to do that as it's so exhilarating.

We have been several times to the Shepherds hut and it's always a lovely peaceful break away. The hut had been decorated since our last visit and looked great with everything we needed. The surroundings are idyllic with plenty walks and activities if wanted. Our own campfire at hut and Dogs also welcome. We will be back again soon.

We'd originally booked on for the packrafts activity. When we arrived we were upgraded to the white water rafting. As complete novices with our only experience of canoes on the Norfolk Broads, we were worried about our lack of skills. Thanks to the great direction of Luke and the other leaders, we were quickly brought up to speed, with the skills and knowledge needed for our adventure. A quick briefing and we were away down river.
We had a fantastic time paddling down the findhorn. White water rafting gave us a whole new perspective. All the equipment was provided, wetsuits , boots, helmets, and lifejackets, we were warm and comfortable through our adventure.
Luke kept us entertained with the history of the findhorn, as well as making sure we steered safely through the rapids without any of us falling overboard!
We've watched the boats from ace adventures from the banks of the findhorn and today lived up to its name.
Thanks so much guys.

Luke was a patient and relaxed guide! We felt comfortable and safe. We had a wonderful time. Wetsuits were in good shape and clean. Hot showers available afterward so BRING A TOWEL!!
Time was taken to give us detailed safety instructions, which we appreciated.

Hello
We are a couple, is it OK to do the tubing and cliff jumping if you don't have kids?
Also, do you have wetsuits for all shapes and sizes?

This is an odd question, I wear a hearing aid and would have to take it out to stop it getting wet . What should I do with it , leave it at camp?I was also going to wear ear plugs to stop water getting in so I’ll not hear much . What’s your advice ?

Hi Mary, good question. If you bring your hearing aid along and a box, bag or something to put it in after the safety brief we can keep it secure while you do the activity. See you soon :)

Hi, My family and I are up in Findhorn at the end of March. Reviews of your activities are wonderful, but the children I am travelling with are aged 8 and 5 (I am their aunt). Do you have activities which might be appropriate for that age? Kind regards, Julie

Dear Julie
Thank you for getting in touch.
The best activity for them will be the half day rafting trip on the river Findhorn. TripAdvisor wont let me post the link but if you go to aceadventures co uk and look for Findhorn - Family Rafting under Activities - White Water Rafting
We have wet suites that will fit and its a nice introduction to rivers.
Kind regards
Jim
