Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Whether local or visiting a warm welcome greets you at Kinloss Country Golf. The course is a great challenge with some spectacular views over the Moray countryside and Moray Firth. The food is cooked fresh and caters for all tastes and the kids will love the milkshakes! A must do, whether local or fortunate enough to be visiting the local area.

I don't play golf but I have been told that the food served in the clubhouse is very good. I had missed breakfast and a couple of us decided to try it out, it's ready to start serving from 0830hrs which is earlier than most other places I know of locally.

The decor and atmosphere in the clubhouse very good, clean, fresh and spacious makes for a good place to relax as well as eat. There is a small bar and plenty of seating. We were met by a friendly member of staff and quickly seated.

The menu looks good with sandwiches and paninis available, a good standard breakfast which costs about £6.75, you get 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, baked beans, egg and black pudding plus toast and a tea or coffee. I think this is great for the money and the food was very tasty as well as coming out nice and hot! You also have the option to have a fresh fruit juice with your breakfast instead of tea or coffee if you wish.

Based on this experience even if you don't play golf like me I would recommend this place for a bite to eat and a drink.

Excellent developing golf course which is becoming quickly established as one of the best in the area. The welcome is always warm and friendly, the food is excellent as is the atmosphere. The course itself is well kept and is the best value in the area.

Very pleasant pay as you play golf course with option to play 9 or 18 holes. The course is shaped like an 8 so you can play 9 holes, have a snack and then play the remaining 9 holes. You can start at hole 1 or 10 so there is never any need to wait to start.

Karen and Tommy are wonderful hosts and everything is very relaxed - no stuffiness here,

Was in need of a spot lunch today. When I had that thought, I was just approaching this place and saw the 'food served all day' sign. Glad I decided to stop and eat. Had the best panini for sometime which was accompanied with plenty side salad and coleslaw. Great value at £5.50.
