Beautiful island. Well worth a day trip. Amazing scenery. Emily's cafe is dog friendly and does lovely food. Watched white tiled eagles soar.

Tallest/highest Prcadian island.Great walks, fantastic photo locations, coole heritage sites and history.Would recommend a visit at alow pace; and remember : there’s no bad weather, just a poor choice of clothing.Do carry cash and patience.Enjoy!

It's all been said so I wont go on. It's a lovely (wet with lots of little Lakes) Island. Just a warning that to go to all the top sights is impossible without a car and although the (passenger only) ferry from Stromness is met...More

We arrived with our bicycles on the ferry from Stromness (no extra charge for bikes on board) and cycled from Moaness to Rackwick Bay, a place that probably looks exactly like it did a century ago. I don't think i was ever in a quieter...More

Great day out with the kids. Got the boat from "Stomness" and spent the day at Lyness, Dwarfie Stone, Rackwick Bay and the Old Man of Hoy. Well worth a visit.

Hoy is a stunning island. If you can, do try and fit in a visit to Longhope and the Longhope RNLI shop and Museum. Steve Rhodes, himself a Hoy Tour Guide is very proud of his links with the lifeboat and the museum.

No. Great for a visit but I like going to watch football, cinema, theatre etc. Travelling to anywhere away from Orkney is very expensive.

Why Germany? And why is your question phrased as if it’s part of a test? Go to Hoy and compare it to Germany yourself
