Some high quality modern art in a fantastic building - great collection of Barbara Hepworth sculpture is the highlight but lots more to see too.

There are some really interesting artworks on display here, but all very modern. For some, this will be endlessly intriguing and rewarding, for others a waste of time. But worthwhile for anybody who likes a challenge.

Delightfully situated in Stromness High Street. Doubles as the tourist office as well as the cultural centre. Helpful staff. An interesting collection of impressive artwork. Beautiful views out over Stromness harbour.
