We had a couple of the sharing platters - the seafood one and the pouglmans one and both of their sampling paddles of beer for lunch. All went down very well! Would recommend either timing you visit well or booking. We arrived around 12.15, and...More

It's advisable to book a table/tour beforehand as they do have a lot of coach tours so it can be busy, the food is of a high standard and I can recommend the steak & ale pie and the burgers are the best I have...More

We've done a fair few brewery tours but we're impressed with this one. The tour guide was engaging and well-informed and it was interesting to taste the different malts. The 'beer bat' with the chance to taste three different brews was a nice way to...More

Impressed by the location and appearance of this micro-brewery. Unfortunately we arrived to find tours booked out (unless we returned for a much later one) and restaurant fully occupied - so no chance of a drink. Normally I'm not a beer drinker at all but...More

Lovely building, good food and great beer. We cycled here and a few sign posts especially from Scara Brae would be a good idea - but it was worth the effort, lovely place.

As well as being a very pleasant spot for lunch there is an excellent selection of the local brews both to sample and to take home. Probably the cheapest way to buy the beer on the island.

Enjoyed lovely home cooked and good value lunch. Also bought local beers for gifts- which are better value here than from shops in Kirkwall. Friendly service from cafe staff.

This was a fun local brewery with delicious fresh food on their menu-served beer the traditional way-room temperature. It was a busy lunch time when we arrived but the staff was so nice and fit the four of us in for lunch-especially since we did...More

Went here today just for a brief look. Didn't do the tour but had a good look in the shop. Shop stocks a very good range of gifts and beers/ales which is worth visiting. Saw the tasting room through the door and I must say...More

We ate, drank and toured here. The dragon cake was very decadent and delicious. The tour was informative and it was great to see the process. The beers were all very good - particularly Red MacGregor, Corncrake and 1878. The main building used to be...More
