The third tomb along the road from the ferry and the longest (and muddiest!) walk in from the road (3 spaces for cars). It is simple to enter by a modern entrance but, once again the roof tiles have gone to be replaced by concrete...More

Another impressive burial cairn on the route to Midhowe. allow time to visit this as it will take 30-40 minutes to walk to/from the road. Stunning views. good to visit along with the others along the road; a lovely cycle ride.

it is a bit of a hike up to this tomb and it could be tricky when wet. You can get in though and see it well and it is a great view too. Worth a visit but if you visit one tomb on Rousay...More

You can reach this chambered cairn dating back to 2900BC from a sign posted car park on the "main" road. Coming from the ferry this is on the right side of the road, the path is also on the right side of the road, it...More
