Buchanty spout is off the beaten track, but well worth the effort especially in October when the salmon are leaping. A beautiful little waterfall, and watching the salmon going upstream is mesmerising.

The Buchanty Spout is miles from anywhere and frankly is not well signposted, but if you get to the village of Buchanty you can park in a small car park where the roads diverge and take the path less travelled down to this enchanting place....More

Nice to see a decent waterfall again even though the water was a bit low. Must go back when there's salmon running.

I can only base this review on what I was able to see from the road and the bridge. There is a wee parking with the path to the spout towards the bridge. However, this was very overgrown and muddy and since we just passed...More

A two minute walk gets you to a fast moving body of water. Not amazing but we were staying very close by, so wasn't out of our way. Ok to fill in a few minutes

There is a small car park very close to the path for the spout. It can be full at times but as most people only stay for 30 minutes there is a good turnover of spaces. It's free.
