We had a drive out to Buchanty Spout on the river Almond, Perthshire. It was a beautiful day after all the rain we have had and the spout was in full flow. It has been a few years since we were last there, but it...More

Great spot to see salmon leaping. From experience, you are guarantee to see them after rain! The route could be a little slippery though but it is worth it when you see the salmon leaped high and fly! The waterfall is beautiful too. We also...More

These grand waterfalls are not easy to find but once you do they are well worth the 150 yard walk to view and to watch the Salmoln leaping if you are lucky. The foot path is overgrown and at the waterfall end you need to...More

The only way to find this is to put Buchanan in satnav or GPS. A small car park as you enter the few houses is where to park. A muddy path fighting your way through grasses, slippery rocks and overhanging trees takes to the water....More

Had a nice hour here with our children. Good place for a picnic. This is not the easiest place to find but once we did it was well worth it.

Hi, many reviews, but not many telling how to get there. Well: satnav PH1 3SQ and just drive a little further on to the small car park. From there, walk towards the bridge and take the path on the left; its overgrown, but there is...More

Buchanty spout is off the beaten track, but well worth the effort especially in October when the salmon are leaping. A beautiful little waterfall, and watching the salmon going upstream is mesmerising.

The Buchanty Spout is miles from anywhere and frankly is not well signposted, but if you get to the village of Buchanty you can park in a small car park where the roads diverge and take the path less travelled down to this enchanting place....More

There is a small car park very close to the path for the spout. It can be full at times but as most people only stay for 30 minutes there is a good turnover of spaces. It's free.
