    Beautiful Gardens
    There was light rain when we visited but we were able to spend a couple of hours in these impressive gardens. Lots of interesting statues and an ancient sundial. Once all the flowers come out it will be spectacular! Many different fruit trees and a garden shop. Very helpful ladies in the ticket office.

    Simply stunning
    Entered through a tiny gate (wing mirrors in!!) & approached the castle via a mile long tree lined avenue, it’s one way so no worries. The gardens are stunning & not what you’d expect in Scotland - more like France or Italy. So ornate & complimented by the marble stature. £10 entrance. Can’t believe I’ve never visited before. Beautiful.

    Finest Gardens of this Style in Scotland - Unmissable
    Came mainy to see the unique Scottish obeiisk sundial. This has been experltly restored. The castle and house are remarkable blocks of stone shaped to perfection and awe inspiring. The entrance drive between the beech trees is worth visiting in itself. Good car park and excellent 'facilities.' The entrance price is reasonable and the staff member was very friendly and informative. The shop is small but adequate. The gardens lack seating except at the cafe area. A very good cafe in a horsebox with good prices and high quality food. The gardens are superb with many interesting statues, a grotto, lochan, waterfalls, etc. The range of Scottish apple varieties is worth a look and the greenhouse ranges were well stocked. Everything well looked after and the robot lawn mowers were entertaining!

    We visited the gardens on a bright, sunny day in September, and there were still plenty of blooms to enjoy. The grounds are lovely, and there is quite a bit to see while visiting. There are several flights of stairs to get from the main level to the gardens, so if you have mobility issues, you might need to consider that. There is a small shop where you pay the entrance fee, with some souvenirs to purchase if you are interested. We chose to have lunch at the Frothy Cow, which is a food wagon located on the grounds of the garden. There are picnic tables where one can eat, as well as some benches. We chose the egg mayo and a slice of Lemon Drizzle to split. The sandwich was very large (we were happy that we shared). Both items were quite tasty. The food truck also has specialty coffee drinks in addition to hot sandwiches and pastry treats. The price was quite reasonable, and the operator did take credit cards. There was a free parking lot that has restrooms in a corner building for your convenience.

There is also a short, 775 metres, woodland walk with loads of wooden sculptures. Have you got limited mobility? Drive up to the castle itself, park to get a ticket and enjoy the views from up the steps. You will be directed to a parking space which offers ground floor access to the garden. The castle itself is not open to the public. There is an excellent food truck, The frothy cow, serving hot and cold drinks salads, wraps, cakes. At the entrance is a small shop, staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely Gardens

My sons girlfriend found this place so we visited whilst staying in the area on holiday, its only £10 per adult and well worth a visit, the views and gardens are stunning, the staff we spoke to are really friendly and helpful, we spent around 3 hours here, shame there is no cafe on site there was a coffee hut which did sandwiches, cake and hot drinks but it would of been nice to sit and rest our feet for a while and maybe enjoy a cream tea.
You need to visit on a dry day as there is nowhere to shelter if it rains, i,d love to visit in the summer when all the flowers are in bloom :)

Amazing experience - well worth a visit.
The beautiful sunny weather contributed to our enjoyment but the gardens and entire site are spectacular.
The lady in the ticket office was very welcoming and helpful in giving advice about the gardens. There are so many beautiful and interesting things to see but it is not too large that you are overwhelmed or worn out exploring it all. Everything is so well maintained and cared for with a great atmosphere of calmness and serenity. Driving up the magnificent tree lined avenue is an experience in itself and gets you suitably attuned to enjoy the gardens.

The gardens are stunning any time you visit. The staff are warm and friendly and keen to assist in any way. It is a favourite Outlander filming location to stop at but anyone interested in history will be fascinated. A must see for Outlander fans and others

The gardens are really spectacular, borders filled with flowers, shrubs, trees, loads of sculptures. For the Outlander series they filmed here, series 2, Versailles garden. There is also a short, 775 metres, woodland walk with loads of wooden sculptures. Have you got limited mobility? Drive up to the castle itself, park to get a ticket and enjoy the views from up the steps. You will be directed to a parking space which offers ground floor access to the garden. At the entrance is a small shop, staff are very friendly and accommodating.

We were amazed when we arrived at how stunning the gardens were, even though it was September the weather was glorious. The gardens were very extensive, & we also did the woodland walk & saw all the wooden carvings.I am not sure what the cost was as we were Historic Houses members but whatever it was it most definitely worth it.

Beautiful Crieff gardens

Beautiful gardens just outside Crieff are well worth a visit when in the area.There is a very neat food truck serving coffee,cakes and sandwiches on one of the upper lawns. Perfect to sit and sip a cappuccino and overlook the beautiful grounds
