We booked a Level 2 Ski lesson for our 10 year old daughter online. After collecting our ticket we got changed and fitted with our Skis and Boots. (Note lockers don't return £1 coin so make sure you've pproperly done before locking, not like me). Our instructor Cat turned up bang on time to collect us and took our daughter out on to slopes. For the next 1 1/2 hours our daughter progressed quickly through snow plough snow plough turns etc and onto starting parallel turns while we watched from the balcony upstairs.
We were delighted with the progress made under Cat's instruction and though the lesson was great value.

My sister and I took part in the board in a day lesson last week. Our instructor Lucy was amazing, so helpful and patient and having never snowboarded before she had both of us using he ski lift and successfully snow boarding down the ski hill without falling. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to snowboard fast, couldn't believe how quickly we picked it up. All resulting from Lucy's FAB teaching!

Kids really enjoyed the ski/board taster session and we felt we paid a good price via Itison especially considering it included a pizza after our ski session. Only problem was the kitchen shut early because it was quiet! No warning and when I queried with Snow Factor they were surprised at the kitchen shutting at 745 on a Sunday. Kids were disappointed and were starving so it ended up costing me an extra £25 in Pizza Express which kind of defeated the bargain of our Itison deal!
Overall the ski session was good. Although a bit badly organised at the beginning as the lady on the welcome desk told us to collect a snowboard first then skiing would be last. After wrestling the boots etc on, the instructor came out and said boarding was 2nd half so the entire group of 14 had to wait for us all to get changed again.
We would return but felt a bit conned by missing out on the pizza deal. We were offered an extension on the voucher but live too far away to justify traipsing back up for a pizza.

Just had an awesome snowboard lesson level 3 with Becci. She went out of her way to help make sure we had her as our instructor and was so cheerful and reassuring building up confidence. Giving someone the ability to start turning after nearly giving up after a previous lesson is amazing ☺️ What a brilliant instructor with such a great personality making us smile and have a great time. Thank you so much BECCI!!!!!!! 👍

We were in Glasgow for just the day and decided to try out snowboarding. Colin took very good care of us and got us from complete novices to being able to hold our own on the slopes in only a couple of hours. An excellent way to while away a couple of hours!

We visited on Friday 17th at 1:20pm for Santa in the snow, and had a fantastic time. I really couldn't recommend it enough. We had Brian who was great with our little one in the snow play area. Then the best santa I've ever seen, he really made a huge effort to make our 17 month old feel relaxed as he was a bit unsure, and we all really enjoyed the experience, especially the cookie and hot chocolate. Will definitely be back next year.

Booked kids in for half term and they had a great time - introductory skiing lessons and the instructor was great with them both.
Make sure the kids are wrapped up warm as it is cold in there but great fun.
Only comment I would add is that it might be helpful to have more than 1 person setting up skis and boots - big queue so make sure to get there early

Level 1 beginners snowboarding for 7-12 year olds, instructor Cameron was very helpful and patient. Would recommend this activity for parents wishing to give their children a chance to try snowboarding in the comfort of an indoor arena. A better introduction to the sport with good instruction without the bracing conditions a trip to Glenshee can often bring.

My 18yr old son and I had an excellent time here last week. We can’t get away this year for a ‘proper’ ski trip to a European resort and so spent two days here (1hr refresher lesson and then 4 hours of skiing over the two days) the instructor was awesome (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name - and she doesn’t appear on the Snow Factor website) but she got us back up to speed very quickly and really helped us get the most out of our time. I would definitely recommend Snow Factor Glasgow to anyone looking to try skiing or snowboarding, have some fun on the snow with family or friends and get some practice in before a trip.

If purchasing a unlimited day ski pass, can you stop for a break and visit the cafe and then return and ski again, can you leave the ski's etc in locker?
Written 29 December 2017
You can ski right upto the entrance to bar/restaurant 😀, leave your skis there and in you go, plus if you just get a pass for a couple of hours they will stamp your pass to allow you to eat or drink and not loose your skiing time!
I can recommend the footlong German sausage 😀, and the many nice beers....ask for a taste before you buy

Hi,what package would I get if I just wanted myself and 11 yr old daughter to ski down the slope, just a day visit.
Written 23 July 2017
If you go on the website you can get lift passes in hourly blocks, they also do full day passes. Make sure to check there isn't any restrictions on the slope the day you plan to go - specific classes/lessons on at certain times of the day

Hi, we love Snowfactor but need to find a quicker/cheaper public transport route from Edinburgh/Glasgow Queen Street - please can you advise?
We searched Googlemaps and came up with the Clyde Flyer (901, 906, 907) or McGill's 26 (£9 each way for 1 adult and 2 young people) or the First Bus 77. Any alternative suggestions, eg rail, other buses, would be most welcome - thank you

On the board in a day lessons, do you get regular breaks? What level of fitness is required?
Written 16 November 2016
Hi Kel,
You'll have a 15-20 minute break in the morning, a lunch break and then another 15-20 minute break in the afternoon. The board in a day lesson is physically demanding as you will be using lots of muscles your body is not used to using. If you are worried about fitness level, you could always opt for our 4-hour fast track lessons. I hope this helps! Best, Kathleen ( Marketing Assistant at Snow Factor )
