Stunning day for a dog walk on an immaculate beach. Easy parking, family/dog friendly, we could have stayed all day. No facilities, but went to Dornoch for lunch. Perfect!

Glorious. can walk if desired from Dornoch along the beach through Golspie to Brora. peaceful, tranquil and gives you a real idea of the vastness of the Highlands.

Gosh! What a beautiful beach! We were at great weather, even in January! Drive through the rather lovely golf hotel and course to get to the beach. (Believe it's one of the top five links courses in the world), not a golfer, but it's looks amazing! Dornoch is an absolutely charming and beautiful town and the beach is stunning.

I have only given this beach three stars not because it isn't a very good stretch of sand and clean, but rather because in the far north of Scotland there are many beaches the same. We are blessed with large swathes of golden sands set in beautiful surroundings with wonderfully clean air and views. everything in fact except high temperatures!... More

Pretty views off the coast. Very tranquil, but windy and can be busy in the summer. Enjoyable spot to read and wait for other family member to golf.

Dornioch may be more famous for its golf colurse but the beach that adjoins it is one of the most beautiful in Britain. On a beautiful day the golden sand sports a pinkish tint ... Bermuda comes to Scotland!

Nice sandy beach, but the North Sea is cold to swim in, some Dornoch people do not like mobile homes parking at the beach car park overnight, they are accused of leaving litter, as an ex-caravanner myself, we always bined our litter, and I am sure mobile home owners do the same!
