An excellent small museum taking you through the history of Dornoch and the surrounding area. It tells you more about the reality of the highland clearances than you will find at Dunrobin Castle.

Spent a fab morning there looking at the exhibits and completing the quiz which kept the girls entertained. They also got to dress up as Vikings which they loved. The staff we met were both very helpful and welcoming. A real credit to Dornoch and...More

Great wee museum with a wide range of exhibits, all well arranged for an easy walk through of Dornoch’s history. Staff very friendly and helpful with no question seemingly too stupid to answer Well worth the admission price and definitely worth a couple of hours...More

If you are in Dornoch, Scotland, stop by this museum! This will give you the history of Dornoch and the surrounding area. There are also hands-on things for the children and two videos.
