My family and I really enjoyed Golspie's hidden gem! This is a short enjoyable woodland walk up a gorge including steps, slopes and footbridges ending with the beautiful waterfalls. The reasonably even terrain is suitable for couples, groups and families.

A great little walk forest walk that is easy to follow down to the beautiful waterfalls. We found this through a trip advisor search of what to do in the area and we are really pleased that we did the walk. Parking is limited but we managed to park and had a lovely time.

A nice forest walk great for the family and dog walkers. The walk is not to long and it’s quiet even.

We went on the ‘Big Burn walk’ in the rain, and it was still absolutely stunning! The walk is manageable, with some uphill and some downhill so it doesn’t feel too much like hard work - also lots of cool bridges!

Stumbled across this place by driving past and decided to stop for a walk.

What we thought was 'Big Burn Walk' as just a name turned out to be quite a big walk over many bridges and alongside a long river and featuring more than one waterfall. Really quite beautiful.

People with walking difficulties be aware this is not a normal walk.

Stumbled over this almost by accident when we stopped to break up our journey. Very glad we did, lovely walk which leads you to the falls which are well worth seeing,

Lovely walk. I just walked to falls. Highly recommend. Only thing I was slightly disappointed in falls. The gorge was my favourite part of walk. Stunning and atmospheric. I never saw anyone else during walk. Just the sound of nature...birds and water!

Visited this area for 40 years and first time I have done this walk . Really enjoyable walk through the forest following the burn lovely photographic opportunities and look out for wildlife along the way took around 1 hour but you could stop n have a picnic .Quite an easy walk on the paths just a few steeper parts but should be accessible for most people. Car park small we had to sit n wait till someone left n you could easily miss the car park if you don’t watch out for the sign. Worth a visit

Walked off the coffee and scones from the cafe. Luckily the weather remained clear and dry and it was easy going underfoot.
